"In this final quest, we're here to defeat an angel," Ren declared.
Evie's mouth dropped open, her eyes widening. "Defeat it?"
She peered at the Angel through her [Monocle] and trembled at its stats. "How are we going to defeat that? It's like a high-level boss!"
No wonder Ren had emphasized the need for at least ten players with stats in the 500s.
Still, Evie believed it would take at least a hundred players, each with stats of 500 or more, to stand a chance against this celestial entity.
Ren, however, remained unperturbed. He said to Evie, "Relax . . . Angels can't descend into this mortal plane with their full power, so we can still defeat it."
Evie's lethargic face cracked with surprise. "So you mean to say that this angel isn't at its full power?"
"Don't worry," Ren reassured her, "if things go south, we can always have Pii take care of it."
Evie looked worried. "But there are other players around. Are you sure?"
Ren shrugged. "Even if they associate me with Ren with the cloak because of Pii, it won't change the fact that I'm still a wanted man."

Ren shrugged again. "So be it then. Sooner or later, the secret would be out anyway. And besides, they're already coming at me with full force. What's the difference?"
However, Ren preferred his other identity to remain secret until he resolved Evie's debt problem. So, he had to attempt to fight the Angel first with his own strength.
On the side, players were shocked at the sudden appearance of an angel. It was the first time they had seen one, and the sight excited them, thinking it was a
World Boss!
Its stats were undeniably at a world-boss level!
Since the Angel appeared in an open area. Any player could defeat it and claim firstblood. The players thought.
The players who saw the Angel wasted no time and contacted their guilds for backup.
A world boss had appeared!
Despite the growing excitement and tension among the players, Ren and Evie, ignored them as the Angel began to address them.
It had descended from the sky tall and imposing, but now it appeared human-sized, speaking with a deep rumbling voice.
"Mortals . . . I descended from realms beyond your comprehension, bearing a grave warning. The path you tread is shrouded in darkness, leading to an evil you can scarcely fathom. I implore you to heed my words and retreat from this perilous mission. The consequences of your actions may echo across dimensions, bringing forth a calamity beyond your wildest nightmares. Turn back now, for the sake of all that is sacred and pure."
Ren and Evie exchanged a puzzled glance, both equally taken aback by the Angel's eloquent words.
"Are all angels supposed to sound like that?" Evie wondered aloud. "They talk a lot and weird too."
Ren chuckled softly. "I have no idea. Maybe?"
The encounter with an Angel was just as new for him. The Heaven's Realm had always been veiled in secrecy, even in his past experiences.
If he ever ventured into that domain in the future, he knew he would be stepping into that realm blind.
"Turn back, mortals," the Angel's voice resonated like a distant thunderclap, carrying the weight of eons. Each word echoed with a blend of divine authority and sorrow as if the heavens themselves mourned the impending danger.
"This is your final admonition, the last whisper of mercy that the cosmos grants you. In the face of the unfolding darkness, your persistence will sow the seeds of your own undoing. The cosmic balance trembles and your reckless journey threatens to shatter it further. Choose wisely, for the consequences of your defiance are etched in the stars and written in the annals of fate."
Evie shook her head slightly. "It sure talks a lot."
Ren sighed and boldly responded to the Angel, "And what if we don't?"
The atmosphere grew heavy as the Angel's countenance darkened. His eyes, gleaming with an otherworldly light, bore into Ren and Evie. With a voice like rolling thunder, he warned them one last time.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Mortals, heed my words. You tread upon dangerous grounds. The consequences of your actions may echo through realms you cannot fathom. Turn away now, and perhaps your souls may yet find mercy."
[WARNING! The Angel has asked you to turn back. Failure to heed its warning will result in battle!]
There's the warning, Ren thought and said to the Angel, "We have come this far. We won't turn back."
The Angel's warning hung in the air, a foreboding echo that seemed to reverberate through the very fabric of reality.
The Angel's visage, once radiant, was now darkened with an ineffable sorrow. His eyes, pools of ancient wisdom, gazed upon Ren and Evie not with anger but with a profound sense of pity and sadness.
His voice, resonating like the mournful hymn of a long-forgotten era, echoed with a mixture of disappointment and compassion.
"Foolish mortals," he intoned, his voice carrying the weight of centuries. "I pray your souls will repent in heaven. Your choices have set you on a perilous path, one that may lead to your eternal regret."
Ren and Evie, though undeterred, felt the weight of his words pressing down on them.
The Angel's sorrowful gaze seemed to pierce through their very beings as if he could see the struggles and doubts that churned within their hearts.
Yet, their determination to complete this quest remained unshaken.
The Angel's expression remained steeped in sorrow, his eyes reflecting the endless expanse of the heavens.
In that moment, a profound silence settled over the scene as if the universe itself held its breath, anticipating the outcome of this encounter.
"A pity," the Angel murmured, his voice laced with regret, and then a blinding burst of light engulfed the entire area.
His wings stretched from his back as he ascended into the sky, regaining his original giant form. In his hands, he held a spear crafted from pure gold, shimmering and glowing with an ethereal light.
"I shall now pass judgment," he declared, his voice echoing with divine authority. "Death!"
