[The player Shura had surpassed the concept of 'Cooldown'.]
[It is an amazing and unimaginable feat, even for the residents of 'Mayhem'.]
[A new event has been triggered.]
[Legend Rush Activated.]
[Every time a legend is born, a Legend Rush event will be triggered.]
[Start gathering information about the Legendary Bladesman Dulwak.]
[Every new information gathered guarantees a random reward.]
These were the world messages that people had gotten just after the messages that some guy named Shura was the legendary class holder and had even become the first and last player to have his own race.
'How cool is that? TOO FUCKING COOL!'
Lynch, or Omar in real-world, thought. He was originally from Dubai who was settled in California, and his in-game name was Lynch. Not only was he the number one fire magician, but he was also friends and guildmates with people like Bowser and Fender, who were both rankers.
He was also a former member of a famous boy-band and was fairly popular.
Currently, Omar was in his private villa in Dubai. He was someone who had wings for legs and would travel more than anyone in the world.
He had already met Bowser and Fender in real life and both of them were super chill guys according to him.
????You are the reason I sing,
I miss the sunshine and moonlit evening????
Omar's cell phone rang with his favourite song being his caller tune.
[Tommy ????]
It was Fender's call, Omar immediately picked up the video call.
"Hey dawg, how are you doing?"
—- Man, you are making me hate my parents for naming me..
Tommy scowled after hearing Omar's nickname.
"I don't blame them for naming you as much as I blame them for giving a VR capsule to a kid."
—- C'mon dude. Get over it already, it's just 1 level.
Tommy stared at Omar. On the last day, they were doing a boss hunt and Tommy had messed up, making all of them die and lose a whole level.
"A whole level and we are rankers. You underestimate the rankings. Anyway, have you seen the world's messages in Mayhem?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt—- Tell me who hasn't? What about it though?
"Well, you remember how I said I wanted whoever it was in our guild? Let's try and find the guy when everyone's busy trying to get rewards from the events."
—- You are still at it? I thought Ferb (Bowser) already told you not to go with the idea. Not to mention the world messages clearly said that he was in some place called the Abyss, there's no point in looking for him.
"It's a good chance for us to seize a legendary class player when everyone else is going to be busy. I am definitely not giving up on it, nope."
—- Man, do what you wanna. Just remember that I am not getting dragged to your shit. So be ready to hear Ferb's scolding yourself.
"Who said you won't help me?"
—- I said!
"Oh, do you want me to tell your mom where you have been going lately? You know, the red light area of Brinkest City–"
—- Bro, what are you talking about? Aren't we going on a lookout for a legendary player? Why are you still wasting time chatting? Ciao in the game.
Omar chuckled at his reaction and went to his Capsule, it was time to go and look out for legend.
But one thing that Omar forgot to think of was the fact that he wasn't the only one who wanted the Legendary class in his guild. Neither was he the only smart one to come up with a plan.

"What's going on?"
Terry asked nervously. He had been monitoring Shura and his behaviour and he finally noticed something odd.
Currently, he was back in the room with the three supercomputers, with all his major team assembled.
"We don't know sir, we can't seem to find out what's happening."
"If you don't know, then who does? Bring me the guy who knows, goddammit!"
Terry shouted at his assistant's response. He was very open to the changes and everything else in the game, but he was someone who didn't like being out of control. But recently, something out of his control was happening.
"Can we see what's going on inside his head? Creation, how did he unlock whatever that Memory Fragment thing is?"
[Sir, the logs say that it is because of his race change, he unlocked a hidden piece of 'Dulwak's Heir'. But even with my interference, this memory recollection that player ZH9495Z is currently going through wasn't cut off. It's the influence of a major character like Dulwak himself.]
The supercomputer Creation replied to Terry's query.
Terry placed a hand on his face as a helpless smile formed on his face. He was a man who wouldn't go back and undo his wrongdoings even if he was given a second chance, that was how stubborn he was. Not to mention the secret someone who helped him set out the game had asked him to never interfere with the game directly.
The game was meant for players and the residents of [Mayhem] and all the stories were formed by them.

"Is the team still at Flynn's apartment? Tell them they can't leave unless they've ensured his safety."
"Yes sir, will do."
Terry's assistant replied.

After going through everything, I decided it was time for me to leave Abyss. I went back to the Rewan village and visited Jeze's grave, after reminiscing the past a bit, I went to Kai's hut.
"So, you're leaving…?"
Kai asked in a melancholic voice. His eyes still had that sadness and I didn't want to leave him behind like that.
"If you want, I can stay for a bit longer."
I said, trying to console him. I never had a father, at least not a caring one. So Kai's love for Jeze was always refreshing for me, no matter if he was just part of a virtual world or not.
"No, no. You should go. I'll just get reminded of Jeze more every time I see you."
"Hmm."
Then, after a minute of silence, I opened my mouth again.
"Then, this is farewell. I'll come back for sure, trust me."
I was worried about the Generals leaving another monster in the village, but then I remembered Felice's words, and how the Emperor had invited me to the palace. I could tell she wasn't lying because of the notification I had gotten back when I was fighting Grivantula.
So if the emperor really was interested, then he wouldn't be foolish enough to turn against me so soon.
As soon as I turned around, Kai's ogre hands grabbed my shoulder as he hesitated for a bit before saying.
"I don't know if I should say this… but, Jeze wanted to marry you after you had defeated the Grivantula. She would often tell me how her heart raced every time she was with you and how… how much she liked being with you… It doesn't matter anymore, but I think you should know her final feelings for you…"
"Uhh…."
I couldn't say anything. I knew she was getting infatuated, but I never thought about her wanting to marry me. I didn't even know if ogres married. The heartache that was starting to subside started resurfacing again, and that's why I decided to not face any more guilt than what I was already feeling.
"I-I'll be leaving then…"
I turned around again as Kai scratched his hair.
"Are you sure you won't gather much attention with that body….?"
He looked at my body up and down, from the large tail with metallic intersections wagging behind me, to the sheep-like curvy horn above my head, not to mention the greyish-silver skin colour. I had almost forgotten about my race change because of how natural it felt.
I felt like I always had a horn, those tails were there as they should be, so I totally forgot that I was no longer a human.
"I should be fine, I honestly don't know what to do with it for now. Anyways, see ya."
"O-okay, see you….later….soon…."
Kai said weakly, and I didn't have the courage to look back anymore. Hence, I took out the only return scroll that I had on me currently. I had bought it just in case I had strayed too far away from the city. Each scroll cost a hundred gold coins, so it was pretty expensive.
"Return!"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmI held out the old paper-like scroll and said the word 'return'.
[You have consumed a return teleportation scroll, you won't be able to use another return scroll for the next 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.]
[You have arrived at the royal capital of Crisedia.]
Notifications popped in front of me and a flash of light suddenly hit my eyes. Slowly opening it, I could see that I was on the city's teleportation altar, which was usually in the middle of a city and can be used for teleportation.
Just that newbies didn't use this thing, it could cost people a fortune depending on the distance they were travelling. The only thing newbies could afford was to return to the closest town with a return scroll, even that cost a hundred coins, so most preferred travelling on foot or carriage.
Okay, okay. I won't speak for everyone else, but at least I didn't use this thing to travel. It cost ten bucks to just return here from the closest location. If that isn't rigging money, then I don't know what is.
The unfamiliar sunlight and sky were a welcome guest to my squinting eyes. I blocked the sunlight for a bit with my hands and a lot of chit chat started around me.
What's going on people? Fill me in too!
After my eyes had finally adjusted to the brightness, I slowly opened them and walked out of the circle altar with a dense mana overflow.
I could feel the flow of mana ever since I changed my race.
'Oh, yes. I changed my race.'
I looked at the people around me and even far from me, all staring at me as they were talking to each other in hushed murmurings.
"Wow, he looks so cool."
"Who is he? Is he a ranker?"
"What are you? An idiot? It's obvious, just look at his username!"
At that random guy's comment, everyone started looking at my head and this time, the uproar became something else entirely. People didn't even try to talk in whispers anymore. Some people immediately took out their cameras, which was an in-game ball-like device that can do recordings for the players.
"OMG! Look at who I just met! It's Shura, everybody!"
"Welcome to my vlog guys, this is a bit abrupt but I just met the legendary class player Shura, you wouldn't want to miss out on that, would ya?"
"Look at him, what the fuck he's so hot that it's unfair."
"....."
Okay, something is seriously wrong here.
"Log out!"
I shouted with all my might, soon logging out.
