Jocelyn was genuinely grateful toward Skyler. If he had not saved her last night, Lily would be in total

control of her life right now. She felt extremely regretful when she recalled the mess that she had caused

in the morning.

She cast a cautious glance at Skyler while having breakfast. “Thank you for everything last night!”

Skyler raised his head to glance at her. He looked like he did not want to bother her at

all. Jocelyn pursed her lips and blinked her eyes. “Everything that happened this morning was

an accident. I‘m sorry!” Skyler huffed lightly and got up. “I‘m full!” Jocelyn sat by the dining

table dejectedly like a loser. After Skyler put on his shoes, he asked her in an icy tone, “Are you leaving?

I’m going to work right now!”

After hearing what Skyler said, Jocelyn immediately sprung to action. He was implying that he would be

fetching her to

work! She immediately stood up and said, “I‘m coming! I‘m coming right now!” She changed her shoes in

a hurry and grabbed her handbag. She smiled cheerily as she looked at Skyler, whose face remained

emotionless. “Let‘s go!” Before they left, Jocelyn handed a plaster over to Skyler. Skyler raised his

brows.

Jocelyn pointed at his chin and said, “Put in on your wound!”

Skyler’s handsome face darkened as soon as she mentioned this. “Do you think that other people won’t

be able to guess what happened after I stick a plaster on?” After speaking, Skyler walked out angrily. He

did not even bother to turn around. Jocelyn had an ashen expression on her face. What could other

people guess from the wound?

Was his injury not caused by her mistake this morning? Jocelyn learned

that she could only collect her work card in the afternoon after reporting for work.

Therefore, she headed to the design department to work. Once she arrived at the design department, a

woman dressed in a light blue suit with exquisite makeup on her face walked over and greeted her curtly

she could say anything.” Find a desk and categorize these drafts. We need to use them

later!” Jocelyn looked at Fiona with a stunned expression on her face. She wanted to introduce

However, Fiona interrupted her with a domineering stance before she could

finish speaking.“ Why aren‘t you doing it? Is this such a difficult task?” Jocelyn frowned slightly. She

found a desk and started categorizing the drafts.

Although she felt uncomfortable about doing a task that she was not

meant to, she did not want to get into a dispute with her new colleague since she had just started

working at Prosperity Jewelry She quickly finished categorizing the design drafts. She handed them to

Fiona and said, “I’ve finished categorizing the design drafts!” Fiona took the drafts

from her and flipped through them. She cast a shocked glance at her and said,

“Not bad! You work quite efficiently!”

Jocelyn nodded and was just about to say something when Fiona handed her a cup. “Pour a cup of

water for me!”

Jocelyn frowned. She noticed the irritated expression on Fiona’s face before she could

say anything. “What‘s wrong? Are you not willing to pour a cup of water for me?”

Jocelyn did not want to argue with her. She took

the cup from her and said, “No, I‘m not!” After speaking, she went over to fill Fiona‘s cup with water. As

soon as she placed the cup of water on Fiona’s table, she overheard someone speaking next to her.

“Guys,

where do you think Jocelyn White is? Look at the time! Why isn‘t she here yet? Is she planning to act all

bossy in the design department since she rose to fame online yesterday?!”

“Who knows? Anyways, President Moore was the one who

personally hired her. Nobody else in Prosperity Jewelry except Big Sis Josie has ever received such

treatment!”

Fiona‘s face darkened as soon as she heard their discussion. “I don’t care what you guys

say, but don‘t just compare anyone to Big Sis Josie. Given Big Sis Josie’s current position, how

can Jocelyn White compare to her?!”

Jocelyn‘s expression changed. However, she did not say
