As he thought about the system, different questions popped into his mind; where did the system come from? How did he get the system?
He shook his head slightly as he cleared those thoughts from his mind. Although the system's origins were suspicious, for some reason, Harry felt it had its best interest at heart. It was more like a subconscious feeling of his.
For now, he'll just focus on levelling up and getting stronger…
He walked out of his room, his gaze went to the wall clock hanging on the wall in the sitting room. A sigh left his lips as he realized the time was already 9 am.
'Isn't this the best time to try out accelerate… on the way to the academy?' He thought as he stepped out of his house.
"Accelerate." He said in a voice only he could hear.
[Accelerate activated]
[+20 points temporarily added to agility]
[-2 Energy points]
A warm and refreshing feeling coursed through his body, it was the same thing he felt whenever he allocated his stat points.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtA smile appeared on his face as he observed his body. Although no physical change took place, Harry felt that his body had gotten much lighter. Without wasting too much time, he took the first leap and he started running to the academy.
Another smile appeared on his face as he felt the cold wind brush against his skin. His uniform bloated and flapped due to the wind that filled them.

A few minutes later, Harry finally got to the academy. He had a smile on his face, normally the journey to the academy would have taken about forty minutes but due to the use of accelerate, it only took him about ten minutes.
He paused at the large black gate of the academy.
There was a big sign on top of the entrance on which was boldly written 'Vane Magical Academy.'
The academy was very large, it could even be called a mini-city on its own.
Vernil city was a very small city, compared to other cities, it was more like a town. Although its size was smaller, it was still one of the most respected cities in the world. This was due to the fact that some of the powerful mages in the world actually graduated from its academy.
There was only one magical academy in Vernil and that was vane academy.
Harry slowly walked into the academy, unlike every other day when he attended the academy with a gloomy look, today he was actually brimming with excitement.
There were tall orange-coloured structures within. These different buildings were referred to as sections. There were four major sections in the academy; the lecture hall, the element halls, the combat mages hall and the dormitories.
The section Harry was heading to was the lecture hall where normal subjects were taught.
The normal students in the academy were restricted from the element halls, this was to avoid unnecessary accidents caused when Elementalists lose control of their spells.
Since most Elementalists in the academy were students who were still learning how to cast spells and properly control mana, cases of students losing control of spells weren't rare. They could only go in with an instructor who would guide them or with the use of a protective artefact to protect them.
As Harry walked towards the lecture hall, he noticed a lot of students kept staring at him.
Although this wasn't the first time he received stares like this. After he was found to be incapable of drawing mana, for a few months, some people tried to avoid him in case his condition was contagious.
Back then, he would keep his head down as different kinds of murmurs drifted into his ears. If it was before, actions like this would have made him feel depressed, he would always bury his face in the ground with a crestfallen look.
But now, everything was different. He was even sure that if those people knew the benefits he could receive from being with a broken mana foundation, they would beg him to 'infect' them with it.
However, as he got closer to the lecture hall, he couldn't help but feel like there was something different about their gazes this time.
'Is this because I'm late… I don't think so… no one cares about what I do…' Harry thought. Whenever the students set eyes on him, they would simply hiss and turn away, so why were they actually paying attention to him this time?
Harry nodded his head as he brushed those thoughts off. He walked up to the lecture hall door, a low whirring sound rang out as the door slowly slid open.
Harry walked into the hall, as he walked down the hall, he noticed some students were still staring at him.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm'Hmm str—' Harry's thought was interrupted when an announcement rang out through the speakers in the lecture hall.
'Harry Morton, head to the principal's office!'
Harry's mind went into overdrive the moment he heard this announcement. He never had any business with the academy instructors, talk-less of the principal. He was simply a useless student who couldn't draw mana. The instructors didn't really care about what happened to him, either in the academy or outside of the academy, as long as he wasn't dead.
He turned around and started walking down the hallway, he felt more of the students' gazes drill into his back as he moved closer to the door. The hall door slowly slid open as Harry walked through it.
'Is this because I'm late?' Harry thought. He hadn't broken any academy rules, except for arriving late. Besides, from the number of students roaming around the lecture hall, lectures hadn't begun so technically, he wasn't late.
The principal's office was located in a separate block of the academy, so Harry had to walk for a few minutes before finally getting to the office.
His steps slowed down as he finally reached a brown door that led to the principal's office.
'Just be calm…' He kept repeating those words in his head like a mantra.
Just as he was about to knock, a deep voice rang out from behind the brown door. "Come in."
