Lumma promptly took out her phone and accessed the official website of TOP to check tomorrow’s auction
schedule. The auction was scheduled to begin at 8 o’clock in the evening, so flying over tomorrow noon would still
be feasible.
Next, she checked the flights from Red Pine City to Coastal City for tomorrow. Both cities were bustling metropolises
with an abundance of flights throughout the day.
Considering Adam’s flying habits, Lumma booked a 10 o’clock morning flight. This way, they would arrive in Coastal
City with two hours to spare before lunch. “Mr. Hills, I’ve made a reservation for the 10 o’clock flight to Coastal City
tomorrow.”
Adam’s sole focus was to take Lumma away from Red Pine City, avoiding the time when Lucas would return. He
didn’t realize that a simple sentence from him could create such a ripple of events for Lumma. “You don’t need to

“Understood.” Despite Adam’s statement, Lumma, being his assistant, couldn’t neglect making preparations in
advance. Otherwise, if she arrived at the auction venue tomorrow and remained clueless about everything, her role
as an assistant would lose its purpose.
“Adam, are you and Lumma going to Coastal City for the auction?” Judy noticed their conversation and finally lifted
her head from the comic book. “I don’t have much going on lately. Can I join you?”
“If you behave well, I might consider it.” Adam gestured to Judy, thinking that his intention was clear. However, Judy
was completely perplexed. “Adam, what do you want me to do?”
Adam replied, “Aren’t you hungry?”
Judy hadn’t felt hungry until Adam mentioned it, but as soon as he did, her stomach growled. “I think I am hungry.
Let’s grab a bite first.”
Lost in her book and studies, Lumma had completely lost track of time. When she finally checked, it was already
half-past twelve. “Mr. Hills, I should take my leave now. I’ll see you at the airport tomorrow morning.”
“Should I have the driver take you?” Adam didn’t explicitly ask Lumma to stay, but he subtly exchanged a glance
with Judy. Judy instantly understood his intention.
Judy hurriedly rushed over and grabbed Lumma’s arm. “Lumma, it’s mealtime. Why are you leaving? We’re going
to Coastal City together tomorrow. Stay here tonight, and we can conveniently leave for the airport together.”
Judy, I’m sorry! I have plans in the afternoon.” Lumma felt it wouldn’t be appropriate to continue staying without
any official business, especially since she had an appointment with Selena to review the design drawings.
“Who did you make plans with? Is it someone important?” Judy blinked her eyes, and tears welled up and rolled
down from the corners of her eyes. “It’s okay, Lumma. Go and attend to your matters. Since I was born, my
parents never cared for me, and due to my status, there aren’t many people who genuinely want to befriend me. If
you don’t want to hang out with me, I understand.

Goodbye…”
Though urging Lumma to depart swiftly, she buried her face in Lumma’s embrace. She clung to Lumma tightly,
weeping ever more sorrowfully.
Judy’s eyes and nose turned red from crying. She looked pitiful, like a little bunny that had been mistreated. Lumma
couldn’t bear to see her in such distress.
Just as Lumma was about to offer comfort, she noticed Adam frown beside her and state sternly, “Judy, how old are
you? Still blubbering like that. If you must cry, do so in your room. Don’t act like a child.”
His tone was somewhat harsh, and Lumma couldn’t bear to hear that. She patted Judy’s back gently.
“Judy, don’t cry. The person I made plans with isn’t important. I’ll stay here today and keep you company.”
“Really?” Judy wiped her tears and gestured an ‘OK’ sign behind Lumma, directed at Adam.
“Lumma, you’re truly wonderful. I really like you.”
Lumma was still getting used to Judy’s enthusiastic nature but tried to respond in a similar manner. “I like you too.
Adam glanced disapprovingly at Judy. He had asked Judy to find a way to keep Lumma there, but he hadn’t intended
for them to confess their feelings to each other
