studied business to impress Charlie. She couldn’t believe she couldn’t even manage a company.

Leah sighed and was about to say something else when she saw Theresa and Johnson coming out.

The door opened. Johnson got in the car and said to Theresa, “Go back.”

Theresa nodded. “Get home safe.”

“Hmm,” Johnson replied.

Sarah stared at Theresa and suddenly giggled.

After they left, Theresa went back upstairs and saw Charlie reading a book. She sat down next to him and looked at

him. “Don’t take Sarah’s words to heart.”

“What words?” Charlie turned the page.

Theresa answered, “The things she said to you.”

Charlie didn’t care about it at all. “Why should I be angry with an idiot?” He thought it was ridiculous when Sarah

thought he threatened her with the company because he wanted to marry her.
