Jimmy watched how indignant she was and heard her mention how he was beaten last time. “I didn’t say anything

about you. Why are you so angry when I said that about her? She wouldn’t speak up for you.”

Theresa didn’t bother to talk to this scumbag anymore.

The elevator stopped and someone stepped out. Jimmy took a look at the floor number and stepped out too.

When he got out, he thought Theresa would follow him out, only to find that he was wrong.

Theresa was still in the elevator. She closed it and went straight to the floor where Dick’s office was.

Rawlins met her at the door.

He was excited to see her. “Dr. Cameron, I’ve been waiting for you. It’s so cold in the morning. Thank you for

coming.”

Theresa was a little embarrassed. “You’re welcome. It’s my job.”

When Rawlins guided her in the door, Theresa saw Dick sitting at his desk. Dick had a very artificially intelligent kind

of office with a stylish design. It was so warm that he only had a shirt on. He looked very languid and relaxed, not

even realizing that he needed a shave.

Noticing her enter, he looked up with dark circles under his eyes. “Hello.”

Theresa said, “You didn’t sleep last night?”

Dick said, “I couldn’t sleep anymore after I slept for three hours during the day yesterday. What the hell? Come

over and check on me.”

He was very agitated because he couldn’t sleep well.

He had managed to get a sound sleep for three hours yesterday. It was so rare that it seemed like the best day of

his life. In retrospect, he still found it quite wonderful.

Theresa looked at the man and the corners of her mouth twitched. Dick was impatient, so she didn’t say anything

else and started to work straight away.

Dick walked away from his desk and went to sit on the couch, which was adjustable. He laid down on it. “Is this

okay?”

“Yeah.”

Compared to yesterday, Dick looked a lot more cooperative today.

When the acupuncture was done, Theresa looked at him. “Are you feeling better?”

Dick said, “Yes. Why do you think I am in this state? It’s hard to get a good night’s sleep.”

Hearing his words, Theresa said, “Maybe you’re thinking too much about Charlie?”

“What do you mean?” Dick glared at her.

Rawlins wiped his cold sweat silently. “Mr. White, Dr. Cameron is joking.”

He was so afraid that Dick would get angry and piss Theresa off.

Dick looked at Theresa and said, “You’re divorcing Charlie. Will he give you anything?”

Theresa found that he was interested in things about her and Charlie.

She said, “It’s my private business.”

“I’m sure he won’t give you anything. What a stingy guy.”

Theresa didn’t say anything. She went to the bathroom where she washed her hands.

When she came back, she saw that Dick had fallen asleep on the couch.

Rawlins stood at the side. Seeing Theresa about to speak, he gave her a look and the two of them came out of

Dick’s office.

Rawlins looked at Theresa. “Thank you, Dr. Cameron.”

Theresa said, “My pleasure.”

Dick’s problem was nothing compared to the others.

They just chose her because she had cured Charlie. Theresa found it amazing.

If it weren’t for the fact that she was divorcing Charlie, it would be a good chance for her to make a fortune.
