“It’s okay.” Theresa said, “I asked Charlie to take Leonard and Ben back first.”

“Why don’t you bring them back? Leonard and Ben are so pathetic.” Cristina now really didn’t like

Charlie.

Looking at Cristina’s nervous and excited look, Eugene stuffed a bun in her mouth. Cristina looked at him

with wide eyes and took the bun off, “You’re crazy!”

“Mindless about other people’s business.” Eugene said, “Hurry up to finish eating, and then let’s go back

to sleep! I didn’t sleep well last night, and I’m sleepy.”

When Cristina heard Eugene’s words, her face darkened, “What are you talking about? I didn’t do

anything with you last night.”

He deliberately made it sound as if the two of them had done something unseemly.

Eugene said, “I mean you kept making noise last night when you were drunk and I didn’t sleep well. Did I

say anything else?”

Eugene came over and stood beside her, hugging her, “Crisy, you’re going with me.”

Cristina was stunned by his gentleness, and her fingers froze on either side of him.

She remembered that Theresa had told her about Eugene’s desire to marry her.

She took a deep breath before she got herself under control and pushed him away, “Stop it.”



She lowered her eyes and tried to put the bracelet on her hand, but she failed after a few attempts,

making her a little messy.

get married recently, we can get a $100 red packet from each of them.”

“Cristina heard his words and said, “Eugene, are you crazy? Why would I marry you? I wouldn’t marry

you!! Just for those hundred dollars? I’m not that poor. Do you think I’m still the same as before and that

I’ll be touched by you with just a few words?”

“Are you sure you won’t consider marrying me?” When he pulled out a velvet box from his pocket,

Cristina instantly felt a little dizzy.

She could probably figure out what was inside the box, so, she grabbed his hand to stop him before he

could open it. “Don’t open it and I don’t want to see the thing in it because I’m not mentally prepared to

accept this.”

“Eugene, why are you treating me like this?” Cristina broke down and looked at him, “If you love me, why

did leave without saying anything before? If you don’t love me, what are you doing here now? You think

that I would wait for you forever? There may be that kind of silly woman, but I am not forever.
