Dick remarked, "You are talking nonsense."

Theresa was rendered tongue-tied for a moment. "Mr. White, don't you want to listen to your doctor?" she asked.

Dick darted at her and buttoned his lip.

Staring at him, Theresa thought he wasn't as horrible as the rumors said.

It was weird. She had thought Charlie and Dick were arrogant and too challenging to get along. However, after

Closing his eyes, Dick prompted. "Hurry! I don’t have plenty of time."

Theresa started the acupuncture therapy immediately.

Dick was sitting next to the window. It was snowy. Therefore, the snowflakes could be seen from his angle.

The whole world seemed to be blanketed in silence.

After the therapy, Dick lay on the couch and took a nap.

Theresa checked the time. When it was almost time for cooking, she went to the kitchen.

He picked up and took a sip. Hearing the sounds from the kitchen, he could faintly see her white figure.

Shortly after, a boy walked out of the elevator. Dick's gaze fell on him immediately.

The boy watched him with a curious look.

Seeing his face, Dick had an indescribable feeling, wondering if he was Charlie's son.

His face looked preciously like Charlie's.

Dick flicked his hand at the boy. The latter walked to him obediently.

Leonard stared at him. He had seen the man the previous day and witnessed him help Theresa. Therefore, he and

Ben were not stolen away by the evil man.

Sitting on the couch, Leonard pulled out a candy bar and passed it to Dick.

"What is it?" Dick looked at the mini-version of Charlie.

He could confirm the boy was Charlie's son as he was like a copy of Charlie.

Dick didn’t pay attention to the boys the previous day. Therefore, he was shocked while gazing at Leonard.

Leonard explained, "Thank you for yesterday."

Dick couldn’t help gazing at him. Although Leonard had Charlie's face and gaze, he was kind to Dick.

In amusement, Dick took over the candy bar from Leonard.

It was bought by Theresa a few days ago.

Dick held it but didn't eat it.

Gazing at him with inquisitive eyes, Leonard asked, "What's your name?”

Dick lifted his eyebrows. The boy was young, but he sounded superior to others when he spoke.

Dick answered, "Dick White."

"Are you my mother's patient?" Leonard asked curiously.

Dick nodded.

Leonard remarked, "You look kind.”

Dick was tongue-tied, feeling shocked by his words.

He didn't expect to hear such a comment from a boy who looked exactly the same as Charlie.

A weird feeling surged in his heart.

"Are you Charlie Calsis’ son?" Dick asked, "Do you know I'm your father’s sworn foe? We never got along."
