“No, I don’t have any feelings for him,” Theresa said sulkily. She opened the door, got into the car, and drove away

before them.

Chandler raised his eyebrows and went back to the car.

Celia asked, “What did you say to her?”

“Nothing,” replied Chandler. “Shall I drive you home?”

Celia raised her eyebrows. “Are you not going to show me around? I seldom come here.”

Chandler looked at her and said, “All right, Miss Holland. Let’s have dinner tonight. What would you like to eat?”

“Is this place far from here?” Celia handed her phone to him.

Chandler responded, “It’s a little far away. But if you want, we can go there.”

“Then let’s go there,” Celia said with a smile. “I heard that the scenery there is beautiful.”

The place mentioned by Celia was exactly the springs hotel Theresa had been to before. It was newly developed by

Daphne’s company and had been very popular during the festival. Many people spend their holidays there.

Although the hotel was far away from the city, it was their key project and there were a lot of places to have fun, so

it was very popular.

While Chandler was driving to the hotel, Celia tried to book a hotel room. Unfortunately, the hotel was full.

Chandler said, “It’s fine. I’ll ask someone to arrange a room for you.”

The two soon arrived at the hotel. After Chandler made a call, Daphne came over.

When Chandler opened the door and got out of the car, Daphne greeted, “Hello, Chandler.”

Chandler turned around. “It’s been long.”

Daphne’s and Chandler’s families had been friends for generations and the two knew each other since childhood.

Chandler hadn’t seemed to change over the years. Daphne found that he would be a little nervous every time he

looked at Chandler’s face. “What brings you here?”

Chandler said, “My friend wants to have some fun here.”

After Chandler finished his sentence, Celia opened the door and got out of the car.

Seeing Celia, Daphne was stunned.

Chandler said, “I’ve heard that your hotel is full. Can you help me arrange a room?”

“Sure.” Daphne looked at Celia and said, “Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it.”

As Daphine spoke, he led them into the hotel in great shock.

When Theresa returned home, Charlie had left and the two kids were said to be taking a nap at home.

However, when Theresa went to their room, she found the two kids playing on the bed.

Theresa walked in. Ben was still sitting on the bed and too slow to lie down. Seeing Theresa come in, he chuckled

This little boy always didn’t sleep when it was time to sleep.

Ben nodded and lay down as Theresa said. Looking at Theresa, he said, “By the way, Mom, I have something to tell

you.”

“What?” Theresa had intended to close the door and go out.

Hearing what Ben said, she came back to the boy.

Ben said, “My dad and I went to visit Grandpa today.”

“I see.” Theresa was curious about where Charlie had taken the boy.

She was afraid that Charlie would take Ben away, but she didn’t expect that they would go to visit her father.

“Why did he go to visit my father?” wondered Theresa.

Ben said, “I spilled some water on that person by accident.”

“That person?”

“I mean Grandpa’s wife, Leah.”
