Chapter 806 The Recording

It was known to all except Rose that Jimmy was a scumbag. Every time she stood on

Jimmy’s side,

Charlie was at a loss about what to do. If he taught Jimmy a lesson, he would hurt

members. How could she find out the truth all of a sudden?”

“It has nothing to do with me.” Theresa bit her lip subconsciously.

“You’d better tell me the truth.” Charlie looked at her hard and said seriously.

The two children looked at them blankly.

To avoid making Ben distressed, Theresa had agreed with Charlie that no matter

what happened, they shall not quarrel before the two children. Faced with Charlie’s

interrogation, she had to speak the truth to put an end to the tense atmosphere lest

the two children should doubt they were quarreling. “I recorded my conversation

with Jimmy when he came to me and sent the recording to Rose today.”

“What recording?” Charlie looked at Theresa curiously.

Theresa said, “I will send it to you.” As she spoke, she picked up the phone and sent

the recording to

Charlie opened the audio file and played it, looking at Theresa. “When did it

happen?” He noticed that the incident recorded happened some time ago.

Theresa smiled dryly. “When I was first introduced into your family, Jimmy bore a

grudge against me and regarded me as a thorn in his flesh. Later, he found me

under your protection and had to coax me into leaving you. But he didn’t know my

marriage with you only existed in forms, and as a matter of course, I couldn’t meet

his request.” Speaking of this, Theresa recalled the time she had spent with Charlie.
