Chapter 1227 Sylvia‘s worry lingered, so she stayed by Madam Carter‘s bed and listened to the old lady reminisce
about the past. Her memories about Odell‘s childhood remained vivid as though it happened yesterday. She went
on until she got tired and fell asleep.
Sylvia finally got up and walked out of the room.
It was then that the man entered the living room in his handsome suit.
He looked rather nervous when he saw Sylvia come out of Madam Carter‘s room. He went up to her and asked,“
How‘s Grandmother?”
Sylvia smiled. “She‘s fine. She‘s asleep.”
His nervous expression was laid to rest.
Sylvia looked at him with crystal clear eyes.

“Grandmother talked a lot about your childhood.” Odell squinted. “What did she say?” Sylvia took a step forward,
shortening the distance between her and Odell. She was a finger away from going into his embrace. She
whispered, “She said when you
were five, you were on the bed and you—”
Before she could finish the sentence, he hugged her into his chest tightly.
“Grandmother said it, not me!” she anxiously explained.
Odell lowered his head and moved his handsome face closer to her. His lips curled. “What else did she say about
me?”
His whisper sounded dangerous.
Sylvia‘s gaze shrunk. “T–that‘s it. Nothing else!” “Really?”
“Really!”
“Didn‘t you just say Grandmother talked a lot about my childhood?” He emphasized ‘a lot‘.
Sylvia‘s eyes flickered. “You must have heard it wrongly. I didn‘t say...”
“Really?”
“Yeah–Hey! What are you doing? Put me down!”
Odell lifted her by the waist and went upstairs.
Meanwhile, Aunt Tonya was taking care of Flint. She immediately got up and made way for the couple; Sebastian
did the same.
Embarrassed, Sylvia covered her blushing face.
The man chuckled. He kicked the door to his room open and put Sylvia on the bed. His towering figure then
collapsed onto her. He pried her hands away from her face, revealing her blushing cheeks.

“There‘s nothing urgent. I‘ll go in the afternoon.” He kissed her lips. “Tell me, what else did Grandmother say about
me?”
The kiss gave Sylvia goosebumps. She put her hands on his chest and softly scratched him. “Don‘t touch me. I‘m
warning you!” Odell grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head. He stared into her eyes deeply and said,
“Why don‘t you warn me after I‘m done with you?”
Sylvia wanted to argue, but her lips were once again sealed by his forceful kiss.
Passionate love–making went on for hours in the room.
When things finally settled , Sylvia was exhausted by all the vigorous movements. She lay feebly on the man‘s
broad chest.
Odell stroked her head. “Take a nap if you‘re tired.”
Sylvia wanted to close her eyes, but a sudden thought rushed into her mind. She turned and reached for her
phone by the side. She quickly pulled up Sherry‘s number from the contact list.
