Chapter 1492
Queenie said there were other fun things to do at her place.
The little girl was also tired of playing with the excavator, so Sherry carried her and followed Queenie to her
courtyard.
There were indeed many ‘fun‘ things here. There were all kinds of limited edition plush toys, dolls, beautiful action
figures, and so on.
Sherry just placed Caprice down, and the girl beelined toward the pile of toys. She lifted the hem of her shirt and
reached out to the group of dolls. When she saw something she liked, she simply took it without saying a word and
placed it on her shirt.
Sherry was stunned.
It was clear that Caprice’s actions were well practiced.
She looked at Queenie who had her arms crossed. Her expression was like a rich person declaring, “Take whatever

After a while, Caprice only stopped moving when she could not fit any more toys on her shirt. She walked back to
Sherry and looked at her with wide eyes.
Sherry asked, “Do you want Mommy to help you carry these back?”
Caprice said, “Yeah.”
Sherry smiled. “I can help you, but these are from your aunt, so you have to say ‘thank you’ to her first,
understand?”
A child might not know better, but an adult did. Although Queenie did not mind, Caprice must have basic manners.
Caprice was confused. She obviously did not know that she had to thank people when she took stuff from them.
After all, her father always let her take whatever she liked wherever she went with him.
Just then, Queenie said, “Caprice is my niece. You don’t need to tell her to thank me.”
Sherry ignored her and looked at Caprice seriously. ” Caprice, your aunt is your elder. She loves you and spoils you,
so you have to be respectful to her. Understand?”
Caprice blinked her wide eyes, obviously not knowing what it meant to be respectful.
Sherry’s lips twitched. Did that damned man spoil the little girl so much that he did not even teach her common
courtesy?
Fortunately, Caprice was born soft and cute. Otherwise, she would have been spoiled rotten.
Sherry crouched down in front of the girl so that they were eye–level, and said, “Caprice, while other people give
you things out of kindness, we can’t just take them. It would be rude of us. Saying thank you is a polite response,
understand?”
Caprice pursed her lips and seemed to comprehend it a little.
Sherry smiled. “Aunt Queenie gave you so many pretty dolls, so you should say ‘thank you‘ to her, right?”
Caprice hummed.
“Go on, then. Say ‘thank you‘.‘
Caprice obediently looked at Queenie and said, “Thank you, Aunty.” Her voice was sweet and childish.
Queenie smiled back at her. “You’re welcome!”

Sherry praised with a smile, “My baby Caprice is so obedient and polite.”
Caprice curled her lips up and gave all the dolls on her shirt to Sherry.
In turn, Sherry took a bag from Queenie and placed the dolls in it. Then, she looked up and saw Caprice go back to
the pile of dolls, and then place the pretty ones on her shirt again.
When she came out, she said to Queenie, “Thank you, Aunty.”
Queenie smiled and said, “You’re welcome.”
This time, the girl did not go back inside after giving the dolls to Sherry.
Sherry helped her put all the dolls into the bag.
Caprice reached out toward her.
Sherry held the bag with one hand and carried Caprice with the other.
“Let’s go back, Mommy,” her little mouth muttered.
Queenie was instantly upset. “Caprice, how could you just leave after taking my stuff? You’re heartless.”
Caprice said again, “Thank you, Aunty.”
Queenie’s anger immediately fizzled out.
The little girl was obviously a quick learner.
Sherry laughed and said to Queenie, “Do you want to come over to our place to play for a while?”
