Chapter 1017: The Human Peace Contest has Begun!
“How many times had I done something like this back then?”
Before he was reborn, Qin Feng had to resort to something like this to get away from trouble. He was too weak to put up a fight, so he had to flee.
After he was reborn, Qin Feng was very strong—which led to him getting a lot of treasures that others yearned to have too.
Still, after his rebirth, Qin Feng had almost always given his opponents a huge slap in the face whenever they tried to demean him and rob his treasures.
Qin Feng was not afraid of Shao Dongfeng one bit.
“Welcome. Are you Mr Qin Feng? I’m assigned to escort you to your accommodation in the hotel. The tournament will begin at 12 PM sharp tomorrow. So, it’s best for you to get enough rest and preparation by then.” A woman approached Qin Feng meekly.
Qin Feng took a look at the woman—she was an S-tier and was being quite respectful to him. She was most likely someone sent from the Human Alliance.
Shao Dongfeng was not the authority. Things that he was trying to do were probably something others often did under the table. As such, Qin Feng would not have to pin the blame on the authority.
“Sure, let’s go. It’s such good timing too because I’m so tired.”
“Alright, sure. This way, Sir!”
The woman led Qin Feng to the “hotel”. Well, it looked more like a massive estate and manor. His accommodation was one of the over fifty beautiful villas that were situated on the land.
Qin Feng could feel some familiar presence in his surroundings. They were the participants that were with him earlier. Other than the ancient warriors, there were also ability users nearby too.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtQin Feng did not care much about all these—he needed to relax and take a break.
Suddenly, his communicator began to beep. A vast amount of unreceived calls and messages kept flooding in.
“Qin Feng, I don’t know what you’re thinking. But this tournament isn’t like the one in our realm. It’s a vicious competition. And you went straight up without giving it much thought! Do you have a death wish?!” It was Hu San’s message.
“Marshal! Your strength is well beyond my reach. I give you my greatest salutation.” This was from Tung Yang.
“If you’re going to do it, then give it your best. But don’t expect me to wipe your ass if you mess up.” This was from Long Ting.
There were also other messages from people like Nangong Zeming.
Qin Feng did not know that right after he entered the tournament, the SS-tiers in his homeworld had already seen his name on the result. They did not expect him to be able to dish out such power in combat.
None of them were able to do something like that.
They all knew just how scarce the resources on Earth were. As such, how could their realm produce a monstrosity like Qin Feng?
Even Seinakawa, Rick and Singhnar were shocked to see his combat prowess. They finally understood just what kind of people were worthy of visiting the Runic Galaxy Realm.
At the same time, they could not bring themselves to praise Qin Feng. They still thought that Qin Feng was an impulsive, idiotic brat who had a death wish. Nonetheless, they still kept their eyes on him, wondering if he could pull it off.
There was only one day left before the contest began. As such, Qin Feng should be back by now.
Many were curious about just what kind of man Qin Feng was; they wanted to get to know him. Some of them even wanted him to coach them a little, or perhaps teach them some of his secret techniques.
Meanwhile, Qin Feng did not care about all these. Instead of replying to the messages, Qin Feng muted his communicator.
What he needed now was a good night’s sleep before taking on other participants and winning the realm.
The protocol of the tournament had already been announced. After 12 PM the next day, they would need to enter an encased realm that would allow them to fight one another. They would be given seven days to complete the fight.
Of course, anything could happen in those seven days. Not once in the last three hundred Human Peace Contests did it end peacefully.
Due to this being a clash between prodigies, there were always cases where a whole group of people was completely slaughtered.
As such, after ending the contest, there would always be one side that had their prodigies completely wiped off, disgracing them completely. This would, in turn, escalate conflicts—contradicting what the Human Peace Contest was attempting to do.
Qin Feng was also contemplating whether he should kill everyone the moment he entered the ring.
“Well, I guess I’ll improvise as things change.” Qin Feng gave it a final thought before snoring away on his bed.
The next day, the participants gathered at 10 AM before heading to the arena in Central City.
The arena was an enormous sight to behold. On the opposite side of the arena, there was a gigantic structure that looked like a bird nest, almost as big as a city.
Thankfully, all the spectators who were there were S-tiers and above. As such, they could use their sharp consciousness to sense and view the fight.
The twenty three participants had entered their own side of the arena.
There were twenty three spatial doors located in the middle of the field. Qin Feng was assigned to the fifth door.
Now, all they needed to do was wait for 12 PM to come.
At a corner of the arena’s spectator seats, about a hundred people were silently watching the scene. They only started talking when the participants entered the field.

“Huh, so it is him. I did not expect our realm to have someone this powerful.”
“Powerful? What use is there? Now, he’s just going to be cannon fodder for these other stronger chaps.”
Eight SS-tiers were sitting in the front row of these hundreds of people. One of them frowned, “Ting, do you think he can make it?”
“Sixth Grand Uncle, I assure you. He’s strong. But just how strong he is… I have not the faintest clue. Nonetheless, one thing is clear. He’s already stronger than any of us in our realm.” Long Ting said respectfully.
The man Long Ting addressed as “sixth grand uncle” looked only about thirty five to thirty six years old. He did not look like an old man at all.
This man was the SS-tier of the Long family—Long Kong.
At his side sat another SS-tier, Li Yuan of the Li family.
Both of the Huaxia Alliance’s SS-tiers had come out to witness this fight.
“So what? When he’s there, all he’s got waiting for him is being torn to pieces. Hmph. This is what hubris will bring him.”
Long Ting raised her head and noticed that this consciousness voice came from Seinakawa.
As an S-tier, Long Ting could not win this woman in a fight, so she could not say much to retaliate.
“Let’s pray that he’s going to be lucky.” One of them began to say prayers for Qin Feng.
It was then, the spatial doors in front of the participants were lit up!
It was time!
Qin Feng charged up his internal energy to form a layer of barrier around him before walking through his spatial door.
The Human Peace Contest had begun!
