Not long after Mackenzie had the drink, she felt her vision blur. The next

moment, she collapsed on the table with a thud.

“D–Did you just drug me?”

Mackenzie had been on her guard, but Tobias outsmarted her. She only

drank after watching him drink the wine. To her surprise, she was the one

to lose consciousness.

“Help me, Emmanuel…” Her words came out in a whisper before she

eventually passed out.

“Mackenzie! Darling!” As if he could hear Mackenzie crying for help, Emmanuel

rushed into the villa in anxiety.

Just when he was about to barge into the villa, Felix stopped him in his tracks.

A group of professional bodyguards stood behind Felix.

“Go away! Nobody gets in my way!”

Emmanuel immediately punched the bodyguards and knocked out a few

men as a result. He didn’t dare to or want to waste his time on them.

The bodyguards couldn’t help but back off in a panic at the sight of the man

who had probably gone mad.

Staring at the check, Mackenzie couldn’t help but clench her fists before

shooting him a question. “What are the conditions you have for investing in

the Terence Group?”

The Quillen family was rather influential in the industry. Their assets were

worth almost a thousand million. Mackenzie never cared about 15 million in

Mackenzie had to admit that his words hit a sore spot.

Tobias took in the change in her expression before he spoke up again.

willing to marry me.”

She immediately turned him down in a cold voice. “No way.”
