“Grandmaster Tantra, Grandmaster Oak. Lord Whitmore had called you to his office,” said the woman as we stepped into the teleportation gate before she turned to me.

“Grandmaster Zaar, Lord Whitmore said he will meet you tomorrow,” She said before she took two of them to meet Lord Whitman while I walked toward my house.

It is midnight, so my father and sister are sleeping, which is a bummer as I really missed them. Still, I did not disturb them and directly went to my room before laying on the bed and falling asleep not long after.

I woke up five hours later in the early morning, still feeling tired but lesser than yesterday.

The tiredness brought by the spatial deconstruction and reconstruction is so heavy that even after three and half days, it had not left me. It might take nearly a week before I feel completely fine again.

I was stupidly lucky to survive that; if there had been the slightest change, then I wouldn’t have been here alive.

The thing is ever after three days, I am still not properly able to understand how it had made me this tired. I have understood some things with my research but not all. I am working on it, as I could feel understanding it will help me in a multitude of ways.

After I freshened up and showered, I went to the kitchen and began to cook breakfast for myself and my family.

“Micheal, when did you come?” My father asked in surprise as he saw me kitchen cooking breakfast. I had not informed him about my cooking as yesterday when I had come to know about being relieved of duty, it was already quite late.

“Midnight,” I replied.

My father remained stunned for a second more before he sat in front of me, and we began talking. Soon, I finished cooking breakfast, and my father brought my sister, and we ate breakfast like family.

Though something is missing in the conversation. My mother, all of us, are missing her very much and don’t know when she will be able to return.

I played with my sister for an hour before I went back to my room while leaving Ashlyn and Nero with her.

I have already got the message from Lord Whitmore, and I have to meet him in the evening. It means it is not urgent, which is good; I want to spend a day or two with my family before going to the front again.

The front will be going to be even more dangerous now, but it is still a place that will help me improve at a very fast speed and make a positive contribution to my world.

There are many things for me to do today, but I begin with some light tests in my core. I have many things which I need to utilize in my practice, but I do not understand their properties correctly, and thus these tests.

I was performing the tests when suddenly my holowatch rang out with a call, and it was not from someone I recognized but seeing the name of the forum below the number; my eyes couldn’t help but light up.

“Hello,” I said as I received a call, and a projection of an old man who seemed to be in his mid-sixties appeared in front of me.

“Grandmaster Zaar, I am Tony Wilkins. I am contacting you regarding the artifact you wanted,” said the old man. “You have the artifact or have information regarding it?” I asked with a leveled voice filled with the grace of Grandmaster.

Every Grandmaster has Grandmaster’s voice; it is one of the suggestions my peers gave me when I became Grandmaster, and some even helped me in creating it.

“I have the artifact you want,” He said, and the artifact appeared over his palm; seeing it, I was barely able to maintain my composure.

To be honest, when I posted the request for the artifact, I don’t think anyone would respond; some of my friends and peers had even teased me about the strange request I have, but here I have found this thing in a week which I do not I will find it in years.

I have even decided to ask Jim for his artifact, so I could create what I want through it, but now I do not think I would need to borrow Jim’s precious artifacts.

“Come to my office, and we will talk terms,” I said and gave him temporary permission to the teleportation formation connected to a small infirmary.

“I will be there in a few minutes,” He replied. I nodded and cut the call and walked into the infirmary, and a few minutes later, the teleportation formation there lighted up, and the old man stepped out of it.

“Grandmaster,” He said with a small bow, “Mr. Wilkins, please take a seat,” I offered him a seat in front of me.

“Thank you, Grandmaster,” He said. “Mr. Wilkins would you show me the artifact, so I could access its value,” I asked directly. He hesitated before nodding. A palm-size green-red color artifact appeared in his before he handed it to me.

I took it in my and inserted my soul sense in it, and a moment later, my eyes couldn’t help but widen up.

“The grade of the artifacts is much higher than I had expected, Mr. Wilkins,” I said as I calmed my emotions.

The Grade of artifacts is the same as Jim’s precious artifact, which he found in a place where even Grandmasters would lose their life; I am really curious where this elite had found the artifacts of such Grade.

“Yes, I am aware of the Grade of this special works artifact, but what use does it have, especially in wartimes where its value decrease even further,” The old man asked with a mirthless smile.

“While this artifact would not be much use in war, it is still something that many Grandmasters would be very interested in, especially after the war,” I said without undervaluing the artifact a single bit.

I do not want to take advantage of him and would pay him accordingly.

Hearing that, another mirthless smile appeared on the old man’s face.. “Will I be able to survive the war, Grandmaster? I had barely survived in my last battle,” he said with his last words being barely audible.
