Thud!

I landed on the ground hard, and my whole body shook. Thankfully, I had landed safely, breaking no bone.

No wonder they are not letting the Primary-I. They could not survive this gravity. It is not just gravity, but also energy. It is thick and not easy to absorb. Many Primary-II is going to have a problem dealing with it.

It is likely why they have capped the number of Primary-II to 25%, while the rest are higher-level powerhouses, mostly Primary-III.

I took a deep breath and looked around. At first, it has seemed like I was in the forest, but looking closely, I saw the runes of many buildings.

They have fallen on the ground, and the trees have grown around them.

I looked around and sensed no one around. The changes begin to appear in my armor, the color change to black-green and so is the style. It had become a little bulky and metallic.

Now it looked like a fitting metallic armor.

It is not just the armor that had changed, but also my aura. From Primary II, it went to Primary III. My aura had also changed to something different, and now nobody could associate me with the persona I had shown in the city.

I must disguise. I might need to take some actions and make some decisions that might bring trouble when I am out.

'Nero, come out,' I said to him, and immediately Nero came out. He is floating in front of me like gravity doesn't affect him.

"Stay hidden," I told to him. "Nobody will discover me, father," he said and flew away and soon disappeared from view.

Sovereigns are the highest-level practitioners allowed in this place, and they are not powerful enough to spot the peculiarities in Nero. If the Earth Sovereigns had allowed me here, I would have not brought Nero out.

Nero flew up, giving me a view, and I cross-referenced it with the map, but I did not find the place I am.

This area is vast and not all of it is mapped. Not to mention, my map is not complete. There were some very expensive maps, for which I didn't want to pay huge money.

Since I don't know where I am. I picked a direction and walked toward it.

There are a couple of objectives I have for this place. First is to collect resources, then look for the methods and find the opportunities to advance quickly.

I soon stopped and turned left, before walking a couple of steps and stopped near a small plant with yellow flowers. I first thought they were common peonies, but they were not.

They are glade peonies.

I carefully gathered the winds of elemental energy in my palm and carefully controlled to harvest of the flowers.

If I touched them with my hand, the flower would wither. They need to be harvested with wind energy. Within a minute, I had finished harvesting all thirteen flowers.

After harvesting the flowers, I resumed walking again, with a smile on my face.

The flowers are rare, but what made finding them even more amazing is that I need them. One of my clones had worked on these flowers. So, that I could add it to the healing formation.

Its addition will make the healing formation even stronger.

Hun!

A little more than half an hour passed when Nero had finally seen a person. It is a short woman under five feet with flaming hair, fighting against a monster.

She is at the Mid-level of Primary II like me and is fighting against the Lion monster of the same level. It seemed to be a tough fight, but seeing the way women are fighting, I know she will come unscathed.

I did not watch for more than a few seconds before continuing with the journey. Now and then, I would stop and collect the resources I found.

An hour passed, and even now, I wasn't able to see where I was. It won't be easy, and I should focus more on finding opportunities, rather than finding where I am.

With that, I increased the power of my soul sense and mixed some rule-bending power with it to avoid resistance.

Though not enough, that for knowledgeable sovereigns to discover it.

A little more than an hour passed when I stopped. In front of me is a half-collapsed building. There is nothing new about them. I have come across a few of them, but there is something interesting in there.

My core had reacted a little when my soul sense passed over it.

I looked at the building before carefully walking inside it. Some buildings have broken formations and those are quite dangerous.

I stopped the one and moved around it, leaving as much distance between us as I could.

I avoided two more broken formations before arriving in what seemed like a living room. It is where my core had reacted. So, I spread it, this time more densely for an accurate position.

'Found you,' I thought when my soul sense had reacted again. I had found the thing.

I walked a couple of steps before stopping and crouching down. I formed extra protection in my hand and moved it onto the dusty floor.

It did not take it too long for me to find it and when I did; I pulled my hand back. There is a small coin size thin in my hand. It is a green metallic piece; it is clearly a piece of something.

There was even a formation carved on it, which had disappeared.

I don't know what it is. I will need to perform some experiments and scour the library after going to know about it. Though one thing is clear, it is very useful to me, given how my core is reacting with it in my hand.

I put it back and turned to the half-collapsed living room. Since I had come here, I might as look at it.

With that thought, I carefully look at things, but whatever I looked at would turn to dust. From tables to tiles on the floor, they would crack with the slightest touch.

The most regretful is the books. They would simply turn to dust as I touched them. I would have very much loved to collect them, despite having a library with gazillion books.

More is always better and who knows, the book may offer something that the library did not have.

Even the library spirit had said that the library was not complete. It could never be completed, as every day something new gets discovered. The only thing we could do about it is to collect as much as knowledge we could.

Hun!

I was in the last row of the book when the touched book did not turn into dust. Nothing happened to it, even when I picked it up and brought it out.

I cleared the dust off it and read its title.

"Lake Soul," I read the title and opened the book and within a minute, my eyes couldn't help but widen up.

It is a method, a soul method, and one very powerful at that, but regretfully. It is not for me.

Only those of pure water element could practice it.
