Chapter 2246 - Copper Cleave
TING Ting ting
The golems in the forge continue to refine my body, with each minute feels better than the last.
The comfort those hammers provide me is on a completely different level, better than what anything had given me, and I felt that this feeling would never end, but not all good things are last forever.
I was enjoying the feeling when suddenly, one golem put his hammer back into the rack and picked up the branding iron from the furnace, which I did not know was there, and came toward me.
Just seeing the branding iron with ancient runes is its end; I know its not going to be pretty, but I had still underestimated the pain it would give me.
"Ahhhhh…."
The golem stuck the branding iron on the huge head of my phantom, and as it did, I felt sharp white-hot pain in my head. It was painful and hot that I had screamed loudly immediately and even fainted for a couple of seconds.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWhen I came to myself from the short unconscious, the pain had faded a lot, and it is fading rapidly while the comfortableness of the hammer is returning at a visible rate.
When all the pain had disappeared, I looked inside my mind and studied the new memory in my mind. The branding iron was used to brand memory in the soul directly, a memory of the method or skill, you might say.
It took me an instant to reach the memory; it is much bigger than I had expected for a simple move, which is not so simple when I begin to read the intricacies of the skill that I had just got.
The skill is quite simple that for a moment, I couldn't help but be disappointed when I saw it was not grand as I had expected, but all these thoughts have vanished the moment I began to read the intricacies of the skill.
It is a complicated skill that looked simple, and I have wasted no time and began to study it immediately.
Soon, I lost in the studying while the refinement continued, only to divert my focus to add more resources to the furnace. Unlike the other arts, forge mountain art takes a lot of resources, enough to turn a rich Grandmasters into a bigger one.
It is a good thing that it does not have requirements on the resources as long as they contain a huge amount of herbal energy; otherwise, I would have been forced to think about changing my art.
TING Ting ting
Time passed by before finally the last of hammer fell down on the huge phantom of mine. The golems stopped before they went to the weapon rack and placed the weapon there before turning it off.
Great changes have occurred in my phantom; from pure transparent, it had changed to faint coppery. The same change had come to my internal energy; it had gotten a faint coppery color on it, which I think would become darker as I practiced the art further.
I have practiced 10% of the art; I could go for some more before I reached the limit, but I did not.
I would like to get control of the strength I have gained and also research the internal energy Ive. Though, even with the goals in mind, I did not get up from my spot and continued studying the new skill Ive got. Follow current s on ɴo(v)elFɪre.net
I lay studying my skill for more than an hour before I stopped and began to get up even so slowly.
I have learned a lot from my previous mistake and would not like to repeat them again. Despite being careful, I still ended up underestimating my newly gained strength and nearly fell on the ground.
It took me a few seconds, but I was finally able to get up, and as I did, my sword appeared in my hand, and I powered it up with my energy before starting swinging it ever so slowly, without making any fast movement.
Due to the nature of advancement in the art, I have learned to quickly master the strength which does not give the usual feeling that regular advancement would give.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmTwo hours passed, and now, I am moving and swinging my sword at incredible speed at such a small practice space. My speed is blurring, and my sword is even faster; those below Grandmaster could forget about catching a glimpse of me.
I practiced for a few more minutes before I stopped with sweat falling from my body. I did not care about the sweat; instead, I closed my eyes.
Now that I have gotten full control over my strength, it is time I test the shiny new method I have got with it. I have understood it despite it being complicated and fully confident that I could perform it.
My eyes remained closed for a couple of seconds before they suddenly opened, and at the same time, a faint coppery shine enveloped my sword.
"Copper Cleave!"
I shouted and swung my sword; it moved at an extremely fast speed that even I could not see it properly. The only thing I could see was a faint cover streak traveling through the air without affecting the air slightest.
It is not just the air that is not affected but also surrounding energy. The attack was extremely fast and sharp that it did not even affect the air and energy around it; the only thing that it had affected was space.
I was shocked by the power of the attack; it was immense. If I had used it against the Bullman or Goatman, they would have stood no chance against me; I would have even been able to damage those powerful tusks of it.
The attack might look mediocre to others, but those with expert eyes would see how terrifying it is.
Its consumption of internal energy is also quite great that it had used the quarter of internal energy I have, which would have been more than enough to last me through the battle but still, it is a bargain I would not hesitate to take, given the power it provides.
