Chapter 2439 The Treasure Rooms II
Buzz!
A moment after runic formation stuck in the room, the whole room buzzed before a door opened, and I walked inside it.
As I stepped inside, I instantly felt the aura of bone glow rubies which is not even Grandmaster might able to bear without a strong will.
It felt like thousands of ants were biting my bones; these bites are quite painful, and this is done only by their aura. I couldn't help but shudder when I thought about the pain one would feel when they actually use these bone glow rubies.
These rubies looked like they were made of bones, red crystalline bones; they were not bone but rubies, as their name says.
There is a pile bigger than me in the room, but if I were to look at the signs around then, once upon a time, these rubies have filled this whole room, and their grade had been much higher than it is right; so high they would have been able to kill me just with their aura alone.
I walked toward the rubies carefully and saw there was no danger. I took out the special storage box and began to fill these rubies into the box with the help of my strings.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtOne should not use these rubies with their bare hands as they will immediately siphon their energies into the bones. The raw energy of the bone glow rubies is extremely dangerous; it will make the bones brittle within a few seconds, and a minute later, the bones will be powder, and they will die.
It is a really horrific way to die, and some people outside use it to torture and kill.
It took me less than half a minute to store away all the rubies, and as I did, I walked out of the room. The formation would hold on for a few minutes, but I did not want to take the risk.
I walked toward another room; on the way, my runes have got the hungry feeling from a resource inside the broken room; the resource is very precious, and I would have added it to my list if the formation of the runes had not been so broken.
I could break through the broken formation, but it would take a lot of effort and time that I did not have. So, I let go and scanned the formation with the calibrator in my hand before beginning to solve.
As the formation of the room containing sea swallowing stones, I handed it over to my avatar to solve after it had finished solving the formation of the room containing the bone glow rubies.
Buzz!
Nineteen minutes later, my avatar solved the second formation, and I walked into the room containing the sea swallowing stone. The stones are jagged, and they are the size of my fist; there are about twenty-one of them, which is much less than the bone glow rubies, but the value of these is slightly higher than the rubies.
Just like before, I quickly collected it and moved to another formation. This chapter is updated by Nov????lFire(.)nᴇt
I began to break one room after another as I moved forward, collecting these precious resources that would make even High Grandmasters fight with each other.
With me and my avatar working together, it would take approximately half an hour for us to break each formation which is insane considering how the old Foxman is taking one and half hours to two hours to break into each room.
I would have been even quicker by a minute or two if I had not been constantly keeping an eye on Nero.
The Foxman abilities are equal to mine or even slightly better, but I have two great advantages over it. First is, there are two me working and the second that, one of me had three times more time.
I am moving faster, collecting countless resources every second but even after seven hours, I did not find a single thing from the Grimms list. The consolation is that the Grimms also have not found them.
I did not spend too much time thinking about it and instead focused my all on breaking into the rooms
The fortune I am collecting by hour is astonishing, and I really wish that Grimms would fall into some trap and die, so I could take my sweet time collecting all the resources here. If that happens, then I will be able to afford at least 5% of the remaining first phase of the thousand grandmaster project.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe project is burning an astronomical amount of resources every day. If I had not produced some results, the council would have shut down the project days ago.
As I had said, the cost of it is astronomical, and if we continue, then it won't be long before the project empties up the vaults of Pyramid with few hours than needed thousands of years to fill at such level.
The Pyramid is making quite an effort to get all the resources we need; not only they are asking for all the organizations, including supreme, but they are also asking the individual powerhouses to donate the resources.
I have even heard that Pyramid had sent out each and every of their specially trained treasure hunters into the runes and realms to collect the resources.
Another five hours passed, and I moved forward in these endless runes.
These torturous bastards were really rich; such repositories are not common in these ruins; they have been since this ruin came to our world; the biggest one appeared two thousand years ago that had killed more than seventy Grandmasters.
Speaking of that, I hope there is no such guardian in this place. These guardians are quite common; there could be one or a hundred or even none. The guardians of the repository of two thousand years before were the strongest; barely any Grandmaster was a match to them.
Chew Chew
I was busy in my thoughts while breaking the formation when suddenly Ashlyn chirped from my shoulder. I instantly looked in the direction she asked me to look as I did; my eyes couldn't widen in surprise before joy appeared in them.
