Mist Realm
In a beautiful space that looked carved out of a dream, with lakes, gardens, and gazebos.
A young woman is practicing under the guidance of a horned woman who looked to be in her mid-thirties.
It seemed like a young woman was trying to make very thin strings of mists and weave them into thin ropes, but she was failing.
Still, despite failing hundreds of times, she is trying continuedly without stopping.
She was in the midst of practice when she sensed presences behind her. The old woman beside her was surprised, but bowed quickly and moved to the gazebo at a distance.
"Grandfather," she greeted the man, who looked to be in his mid-fifties, with hair white as mist that always lingered around him.
He is Cassian Lockwood, leader of the mistson faction and one of the most powerful people in the mid realm.
He is not alone. Beside him is a young man, who looked to be around her age.
"Little Rose, how is your training?" asked the man.
"Currently, full of failures. I can't seem to make strings thin enough, at concentration, I want," she replied in frustration and turned to the young man, whom she had not seen before.
He is half-sovereign and his expressions are full of awe toward the man beside him.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIt is not surprising to Rose. Most people are in awe of this man and jealous of her and her mother, who have unrestricted access to him, since the moment they arrived at the realm.
"Don't worry, you will succeed." He said, before turning to the young man beside him.
"I have come here to here to introduce this young man to you. He had brought a gift for you," he said and instead of becoming happy, she glared at the man.
"Grandfather, you are too! Uncles and aunts have been trying to set me up with their descendants. I don't want this from you too," she said angrily, surprising the old man.
While the young man beside her is shocked. He had heard about them the moment he returned hope and how much favor grandfather had been giving to them, but still, such a tone shocked him.
Nobody in the family dares to talk to him like that.
"They are doing what? Well, I will tell them to stop. As for little Magnus, he had brought a gift. It is not from him, but from someone you know," said Man, with a small smile on his face.
A frown appeared on the young woman's face and turned to the young man, who felt a little intimidated by her, that he revealed the gift rather than wasting time on words.
The clay square appeared in his as she opened her mouth, but the moment she saw the seal on it, stopped whatever she was saying and looked at it.
"Wh..where do you get this?" she asked, with her words stuttering.
"Your brother gave this to me to give you this," he said and handed the clay square to the young girl.
Buzz!
The moment it appeared in her hand. It lit up on its own, revealing things that even surprised an old man a little.
There are many things, from huge bundles of different types of clays to substances, that didn't have any state shape or size. There are also many memory crystals.
Nearly all of them had her and their mother's names covered on it, with only one for their cousin Joana and family.
"True creation material. While it is of the lowest grade, it is very hard to find. We have some in our treasury, but it is smaller than what little Michael had sent you," said the man.
Magnus, on the other hand, looks at all the soils before turning to the true creation material.
"The bastard hid the best things," he cursed before he could stop himself.
His eyes burned, looking at all the clay. He understood what Mike's traded with him was the lowest grade of clay, not the highest grade ones here in large quantities.
Not to mention enticing creation material. That is hard to get, even for someone like Grandfather.
It is tremendously useful, especially in breaking through Prime and its stages. It is for this thing; he had chosen to go out and finish the list of takes with no help from the realm.
So, he could get a less than a drop of this thing, which helps the cores tremendously.
She didn't seem angry at me cursing at her brother and instead touching the crystals. Mike seemed to have said some emotion as tears started to drip from her eyes.
A few minutes passed when she released the first crystal and turned to me.
"How was he?" she said.
"He was good and progressing fast. He had become Sovereign, High-Sovereign to be exact," I replied, and she laughed for some reason, looking enchantingly beautiful that I was struck by it for a moment.
"Let me tell you something about my brother. The power he shows is never his true stage.
"His true stage is always one level below what he shows,"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"You are saying he is Primary-III, instead of Sovereign?" he asked, and she just smiled.
"Have you met Ashlyn and Nero?" she asked, and I had never heard of those people, nor they were around Mike when I was with him.
"I am talking about his monsters," she clarified, and a bulb lit in my face.
"No, I didn't see them, but he did imply that his monster was scouting a way for us, and it was quite good," I replied, and she smiled enchantingly again.
"If you ever meet them, be careful. They are more dangerous than my brother himself," she informed. I was thinking of it as a joke when I saw how serious her eyes were.
"It is such a regret that little Michael didn't come to the realm. I love to meet the man who succeeded in doing what had failed," said Grandfather and pride appeared on the girl's face.
"I am not surprised. My brother is a cautious person; he won't come here, unless he is sure of his strength," said the woman.
That would take thousands of years. It is near impossible to break the boundary of the Prime for crashers like him, but after looking at Grandfather, I sighed.
Grandmaster did it less than five hundred years and he supposed to have said that others came with him from that world, achieved it before him.
The beautiful woman picked one of the storage rings and turned to me. "Take this. My brother wants you to have this," she said, handing me the ring.
"There is no need." I shook my head. I don't want to seem greedy to this beautiful woman.
"There are things there that others would die for," said the beautiful woman with a smile, and I snatched the ring before I could stop myself.
My cheeks reddened seeing what I did, but since I did it. I decided to look inside.
What I saw inside couldn't help but shock me.
In there are all types of soils, that are floating in front of me, but on a much smaller scale, but I am not looking at that.
I am looking at creation material.
It is much smaller than what the beautiful woman has got, but much bigger, than I would have gotten after accomplishing all the tasks.
