"Captain, the leader is coming," I informed, and a smile appeared on his face.
"It is also bringing an entourage of powerful monsters," I added, dimming the smile on his face.
RAOOOORRRR!
He opened his mouth to reply but stopped hearing the mighty roar, that shook all the people. Immediately, everyone realized that the big boss was coming and a moment later, the captain confirmed.
"How many and what is their strength?" he asked, and I replied, making him take a deep breath.
He didn't reply and turned to the monsters, who had intensified their attack. They were already attacking us crazily, but now they have turned mad.
After a moment of silence, the captain informed the people of the powerful monsters that the leader was bringing.
"Ship command; activate blaze protocol," commanded the captain, and immediately, I dense deep rumbling from the ship.
ROOARRRRR!
The monsters sensed it, and so did their leader. It had roared, and the sea raged further as it increased its speed, but it wouldn't be able to reach us in time.
A blue sun cout of the ship and flew into the sky. It is a massive, side of a ten-story building and has such power, that I wanted to summon my shields immediately.
For the first tsince the battle started. True fear in the monsters' eyes, and it is rightly so.

The sun stopped in the sky and spun and, as it did, released the blazing energy spears toward the monster.
The monsters moved to dodge the attack, but few could.
It hit them and half of those it hit turned to ashes, while another half were baked. It was absolute mayhem for three seconds before it was all over and when it did, 70% of the monsters had died.
We moved toward the rest.
That sun was no normal attack, but the expendable artifact. It was really expensive, and the ship only had one, or that is what the captain had stated.
We were to use it to clear the path toward the energy leader, but the captain used it seeing it was coming toward us. It was wise because it wouldn't have been as effective against the monsters that the leader was bringing, much less the leader.
Now we are clearing the rest of the monsters.
It will help us a lot, as we wouldn't want the critters when we deal with the leader and the powerful monsters it is bringing.
Those monsters are really dangerous. Each one is as powerful as the manta rays we had faced, and there are hundreds of them.
The captain is moving people, and the weakest one is going back to the ship. They have no place in the battle is going to start within seconds. Keeping them out would be killing them.
Seconds passed, and finally, the monster appeared.
It is a Man Face Squid. It is not as big as one would expect; it is around twelve meters long. Not big, when compared to sof the monsters behind it which are as big as the five-story building.
It was pink in color and didn't seem to have any defensive skin on it. It looked like it would be cut by the touch of the place.
Though, I am not looking at its skin, but its face. The face of the man, made it look like a monster of terror; I shuddered seeing it and nearly took a step back before stopping myself.
ROARRRRRR!
It's open its mouth and roared, showing its blood-red teeth, that could tear through our hardest defensive method.
The roar was command and hearing it, hundreds of powerful monsters behind it moved. It also moved and to my horror, its target was us, or rather the captain.
It seemed to understand that the captain was the leader and coming to take his life with its own hand, or rather, the tentacles.
"I hope your defensive method will hold or we are fucked!" said the captain as the sphere enveloped us.
"Let's hope it does," I said nervously.
I never had a doubt about my shield against any monster I had fought, but I am having the doubt now. This is the strongest Sky Sovereign monster I had cacross, far stronger than any.
It is also one of the strongest Sky Sovereigns, I have seen. There are a few, like the red hunter and cultist shaman could kill it with a single attack.
I couldn't compare this to those two. They had the power of the prime, while this one is below them.It is a limit for Sky Sovereign.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmNobody on the ship is strong as it is. even Captain would be killed if he fought it directly and might be still killed as I don't know if my shields could stand a chance against it.
The captain started to attack immediately and the arrows he used were no normal arrows. All of them were forged arrows, which he rarely used, but against it, he was only using them.
The man's face squid looked at those arrows but didn't move to dodge. I know it could; it is really fast and give. Its power didn't matter whether it was in the air or the water.
At least for a short time.
BANG BANG BANG!
Instead, it had moved its tentacles; they moved smoothly and crashed against those arrows, not letting even a single one reach its man-like face.
The squid flew off out of the explosion of dust and to my shock, there was not even a scratch on its tentacles.
"It's really powerful," said Captain with a nervous laugh and attacked again, this twith different arrows with a much more powerful aura.
BANNG BANNG BANNG!
The arrows crashed against its soft tentacles once again and, like last time, there wasn't a scratch.
It really scaredbecause those arrows had killed every monster, the captain had attacked, but they weren't enough to make even a scratch on it.
I am not the only one scared. Even the captain had terror on his face. The monster turned out to be more powerful than we had thought. I want to escape, but it is already too late.
If I wanted to escape. I should have done that before it arrived.
