Chapter 1432
Wilfred and Edith's mood immediately brightened up as soon as they saw their beloved granddaughter. They finally
smiled. They warmly greeted Stella and asked about how she had been.
Stella introduced her friends to them, too. After chatting, Trevor said, "Grandpa, Grandma, I'll take Stella upstairs.
It's going to take some time for her to get her makeup ready."
"Sure, go ahead." Edith let go of Stella's hand. "Make sure you look gorgeous so we can show you off later."
"Sure," Stella replied with a smile.
As she turned around, she saw Darcie standing behind her. She nodded at her before going to the lounge upstairs.
Darcie pursed her lips and pondered the meaning behind Stella's gaze.

some rest and have something to replenish your energy. The banquet will only start in the evening, and it will be
very tiring for you if you don't eat something now."
The elderly couple's expression eased slightly. Although the hotel was not the best, the owner was courteous and
attentive. After hearing Olivia's suggestion, they seemed to be less bothered by the hotel selection.
However, Wenham still could not let it go and his expression remained unpleasant.
Darcie pursed her lips. "Wenham, I'm sorry for not thinking this through. It's my fault for blindly listening to Stella.
Her return is a big deal for both the Hall and the Saun family. I was wrong for following Stella's wishes without being
considerate enough. I'll make a call to the owner of Emperor Suite now and see if there's any hall available for
booking. I don't mind spending a little more money to make Stella feel special."
Wenham furrowed his brows. "We don't have the time anymore. What's the decoration going to be like even if
there's a hall available? It might turn out worse than this place."
Darcie lowered her gaze. "I'm sorry. This is all my fault."
Wenham was not blaming her, but he could not help feeling guilty that he had not given his child the best option.
Darcie had always been meticulous, so he let her pick the venue for Stella. However, he was not expecting things to
end up this way.
Darcie prepared everything herself and even carefully decorated Stella's room, leaving no detail overlooked.
Wenham had noticed it all. So, he knew that it was not fair to put the blame entirely on her.
"Never mind. Just forget it. Stella has got to like this place since she chose it herself. Her happiness is the most
important thing."
Then, he patted Darcie's shoulder. "Go on and get some rest, too. There'll be a lot of guests to entertain tonight."
"Okay," Darcie said and went upstairs with Wenham.

At seven o'clock, the guests began arriving one after another.
Because the hotel was not top-notch, there was some gossip among the attendees. But they were considerate
enough not to criticize it openly.
Although it was not the most expensive hotel, the interior decorations were elegant and could rival those of more
luxurious hotels.
The entire banquet hall was decorated with preserved flowers, whereas the tables were decorated with fresh ones.
Preserved flowers were difficult to make and more expensive compared to fresh ones. It added a touch of luxury to
the decorations, showcasing how serious the Saun family was about this occasion.
The guests could not help but speculate who the long-lost heiress of the Saun family was.
"Where did they find their daughter?"
"I have no idea. The Saun family has been very secretive about it. They also didn't allow the media to enter this
venue tonight and prohibited us from taking any photos."
