Kendrick grabbed his coat, leaving his office. Just as he reached the underground parking

lot, he received a message from Cynthia asking him not to mention the trending topic to

Jonathan.

Cynthia had told Shirley the same thing when she asked. She hoped this would help the

Cynthia, looking utterly puzzled, hastily grabbed the phone. She had been indifferent to

the previous public speculations, but what worried her was the possibility of Joshua

divulging their past dealings. She did not want her private affairs to became the topic of

people’s idle chatter. Even more so, she did not want mentions of Yates Group and Neal

Group to bring up their failed
