Tracy truly regarded Cynthia as her daughter–in–law and eagerly shared various

“It’s alright. His strict training was for our own good.” Cynthia assured the concerned Tracy

Matthew enjoyed this, and he nodded with a smile. “Got it.”

“Let’s eat first,” Tracy urged as she held Cynthia’s hand, showing her affection. “I wasn’t

sure what you liked. When I asked Matt, he said you weren’t picky, so I made various

dishes ”

“Thank you,‘ Cynthia responded.

During the meal, Cynthia sat next to Tracy and Matthew. At first, everyone was just eating

and enjoying the food. Tracy warmly interacted with Cynthia, introducing each dish.

However, as the meal progressed, Tracy kept giving Matthew meaningful looks, but he

missed them entirely. Finally, Tracy gave up and sald, “Matt, why don’t you serve some

dishes to Cyn? There are some she can’t reach.”

“Sure.” Matthew nodded.

Throughout the meal, Cynthia was constantly being fed by Matthew. Fortunately, he did

not feed her too quickly, allowing her to finish each bite before bringing the next dish

Although she tried to resist, it had no effect. After all, Matthew informed her that he would

get scolded if he went against Tracy’s orders.

Cynthia did not suspect anything as he was their captain, and no one would suspect him

of lying. After lunch, they brought out some fruits for dessert, and just as they were about

“Aren’t you staying for dinner?” Tracy was surprised. “It would be better to have dinner

Matthew came closer and whispered, “Mom, didn’t we agree just to have lunch?!

Tracy remained silent.

She was just reluctant to let Cynthia leave sa early as she thought they had not spent

enough time together.

“We’ll take our leave then.” Matthew held Cynthia’s hand and said their goodbyes.

Cynthia also bid farewell politely, “Goodbye, uncle and auntie.”

Tracy and Hank were left stunned, and even after Matthew and Cynthia’s figures

disappeared at the door, they still had not fully processed what had just happened.

Hank was still holding a teapot, confused as he asked, “They’re leaving already?”
