Yoel maintained his silence. As long as he acted well, Joshuaa would assume that his

signal was terrible.

When joshua did not hear any response, he glanced at his phone, confirmed that he had a

full signal, and called out, “Yoel.”

As there was no reply, Joshua decided to send a message instead.

Yoel promptly turned off his phone. After all, he was still on vacation, and turning it off

would not be much trouble for a day or two. He felt fortunate to be single; otherwise, he

would not go without contacting his girlfriend for twenty–four hours.

Joshua had not expected Yoel to be so daring. After sending the message, he did not

bother with it and slept.

“The surveillance camera you asked Mac to chanar last time wasn’t quite suitable. How

Cynthia stopped typing on her keyboard. She knew Yoel well enough that he would not

“Got it,” Cynthia acknowledged.

After hanging up, Cynthia texted Yoel Unfortunately, his phone was still off, and he did not

receive her message.

The next day, Cynthia had just finished dealing with some boliday–related matters.

Jimmy messaged her, suggesting that they all get together. Although she was not very

interested in such gatherings, she usually agreed since they were all friends. However,

“I won’t come this time. Have fun,” Cynthia said as she walked out of the study and

glanced at Joshua sitting on the sofa. reading and studying.

“Come on…” Jimmy glanced at Riley and immediately spoke up. They planned to see how

Cynthia’s relationship with Matthew was progressing, and if it was not going well, they

could give it a little push.

If Cynthia did not come, what would be the palat?

“Are you busy with work? You can bring the work with you and let Mitchell and the others
