Chapter 680
Jimmy also chimed in, “Yes. Dare is more exciting.”
“Choose Dare,” Mitchell urged.
“Alright.” Matthew suddenly became curious about what Cynthia had in mind for him.
“Dare.”
Cynthia wanted Matthew to be happy, as she always saw him as an outstanding person.
“After the party, confess to the person you like. Bring the rest of us along too.”
Matthew’s eyebrow raised, and a playful glint danced in his eyes as he said, “Are you
sure?”
“Positive.
“Okay.”
Matthew agreed. He wondered how Cynthia would react when she found out she was the
one being confessed to.
“Why wait for the party to end? Call and confess now,” Riley Instigated from the side,

Over the phone, Captain won’t be able to perceive the other person’s true reaction and
feelings in real–time.”
In Cynthia’s opinion, important things should be said in person. Over the phone, one could
not see the other person’s emotions, gate, or reactions, which might lead to
misunderstandings.
Riley and Mitchell coughed lightly, concealing their amusement as they watched the
scene.
“Let Captain decide,” Jammy suggested, eager to see the drama unfold.
“Either way is fine.” Matthew felt a sudden nervousness in his heart.
Cynthia hesitated. “Either way?”
Seeing her confused, Matthew added, “Or maybe I could call her first and tell her I have
something very important to talk to her about in person?”
“Alright,” Cynthia agreed, thinking it was a good plan.
“Shall I make the call then?”
“Mmhmm.”
Everyone focused on Matthew.
He unlocked his phone, opened the contact of the person he had marked as special, and
then pressed the call button.
At th

himself for the possibility of being rejected by Cynthia, he could not help but feel a bit
nervous.
He wondered how she would react when she saw his call. Would she think it was a
mistake?

Cynthia’s phone rang, and she froze, feeling a bit dazed.
Why was her phone ringing?
“Cynthia, your phone is ringing.” Jimmy, still composed, reminded her.

Obviously, Cynthia realized her phone was ringing
Could it be that the person he liked was her?
If that were the case, should she answer the call or not?
Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Cynthia, with mixed emotions, reached into her
pocket and retrieved her phone.
She was surprised when she saw the caller ID.
Joshua?
Riley, Mitchell, and Jimmy were all puzzled.
They immediately looked at Matthew, obviously wondering what was going on
