Chapter 67 The Only Way Was to Comfort Nancy

Nancy smiled mischievously, just like Linda did earlier. “I won’t tell you now. It’s a secret.”

The suit was neatly packed in a very exquisite gift box.

As Nancy went to pay with the receipt, Linda frowned deeply. She was having second thoughts. because, honestly,

she had liked that suit the moment she saw it.

Someone as composed and meticulous as Luke, who typically only wears black suits, would definitely exude a

unique charm and coolness if he wears this blue suit. It would make him look. less stern and arrogant.

But the question was, in what capacity and under what pretext should she give it to him?

When she saw the edited photos, Linda immediately sent dozens of “thumbs up” in response.

Nancy is indeed mesmerizing!

Although Linda’s photography skills were excellent, but Nancy was pretty enough, and the photos. were already

beautiful.

But after all, Linda took those casually with a mobile phone. They needed more professionalism. with the lighting

and such.

After this retouching, those photos felt completely different, almost on par with international blockbusters.

“Alright, let’s wait for his response.”

When Nancy looked over, she saw Linda sending those photos to Nicholas.

“Why are you sending these photos to him? I don’t want him to see it.”

“It’s about boosting your charm and make Nicholas open his eyes to see how beautiful you are. There are plenty of

people who appreciate a girl like you. He’s not the only one.”

When Nicholas received the photos, he could hardly believe his eyes.

Nancy wore an apricot chiffon dress that perfected her long and fair legs. Although the dress. wasn’t form-fitting, it

accentuated her body’s curves, making her look graceful and lovely.

Under the soft lighting, her smile at the corner of her lips was gentle and radiant.

Her

eyes sparkled, as if they held an entire night sky filled with countless stars.

With two fingers, Nicholas zoomed in on the photo. When Nancy’s features were displayed again, he could finally

confirm that the image was indeed of Nancy.

Somehow, his hand holding the phone was trembling.

Nicholas immediately called Nancy, only to remember that his phone had been blocked by her when he heard the

response from the other end.

He switched to WhatsApp and immediately sent a message: “Where are you? I’ll come to pick your

up.”

Nothing.

There was no response.

She didn’t reply.

Nicholas sent another message, “Please reply!”

“Are you still angry?”

“Nancy, tell me where you are?”

Still, no response at all.

In the end, Nancy didn’t reply any of his texts.

Nicholas immediately switched target and sent a message to Linda: “Where are you guys?”

“Mr. Sallow, you feel threatened now? But why should I tell you?”

“Linda, it would be better if you just tell me. I don’t want to go look for Luke.”

Linda clenched her teeth. Nicholas, you’re ruthless!

She replied, “It’s no use looking for Luke either. He doesn’t know.”

“If Nancy can block you, I can block Luke too. Nicholas, being tough in front of me won’t work. Your only way out is

to apologize and beg for Nancy’s forgiveness. Otherwise, there’s no solution.”

After sending the message, Linda immediately logged off and decided not to respond further.

Linda thought Nicholas was too used to getting his way, and he needed to experience the feeling of being unable to

get what he wanted. Only then would he understand how much pain Nancy was going through and how difficult love

could be.

On the other side, Nicholas held his phone to his forehead, feeling a headache coming on.

He considered himself as a decisive and strategic person in the business world. However, he found himself at a loss

when it came to these two women.

When Nicholas’ face was as cold as ice, he suddenly saw a text message on his phone.

The text message notification indicated a deduction from Nancy’s account about an hour and a half ago. Nicholas

carefully examined the information provided.

Nancy made one transaction at a women’s clothing store and the other at a men’s clothing store.

A men’s clothing store?

Nancy wouldn’t buy clothes for Felix.

Was it for him?

While thinking of this, Nicholas’ mood suddenly improved. He felt that even his previous bad. mood had vanished.
