his back straightening as if he really were fine.

However, Ruka refused to leave even if he wanted her to. She shook her head and insisted, “I‘m not leaving. I want

to take care of you.”

At her words, Ren‘s lips curled upward indistinguishably. He nodded and agreed, “All right. Help me back to the hall

so that I can rest.”

Ren wasn‘t pretending that his chest was aching. When she resolutely said those words to him earlier, there was
