Brian smiled as he patted the man on the back.

The two exchanged a few more pleasantries; then Merrick’s eyes turned to Rosalyn.

“My translator, Rosalyn Fuller,” Brian introduced.

“Hello, Merrick. I’m Rosalynn.”

Rosalynn flashed a polite greeting.

“Nice to meet you, Rosalynn. It’s always a privilege to be acquainted with a woman as lovely as you.”

Merrick complimented her.

Upon hearing what he said, Brian frowned slightly.

“Brian, is it just you and Rosalynn this time?”

Merrick asked, looking around to see if anyone else had come with the two.

Brian glanced at Rosalynn, who was quietly pushing the suitcases, and smiled.

“Yes. She is capable. She’s trained both in martial arts and languages.”

That surprised Rosalynn.

beautiful.” Merrick said, giving him a meaningful look.
