Chapter: 136

When everyone came to the table, they saw a variety of dishes on it.

“Thank you for cooking for us. By the way, what were the dishes you prepared, Kabir?” Baxter asked.

Kabir pointed at the vegetarian dishes in the middle of the table.

“There were only a few ingredients available, so | made these dishes.”

Baxter nodded with satisfaction. “They look great.”

Kabir raised his chin smugly and glanced at Rosalynn, who was standing quietly aside.

Arya looked at the remaining dishes, which should have been prepared by Rosalynn, and asked, “What

dish is this? It looks like chicken.”

Everyone followed her gaze and looked at the dish in question.

“Chicken? Wasn’t it made clear that Chaz and his wife are vegetarians? Why did you still cook a meat

dish? You are being disrespectful to them,” Baxter said, obviously wanting to make a commotion.

“Exactly. Did she do it on purpose?” Arya quickly echoed.

Even Eleanor gloated and complained, “Rosalynn, what were you thinking? Why did you cook a meat

dish?”

She didn’t want to see Rosalynn shine in this cook-off, but she was also afraid that the cooperation

would be ruined because of Rosalynn’s failure.

Hence, she could only express her frustration.

“She must have been very anxious that she made such a rookie mistake. Don’t worry, I’ll remove the

dish.”

Kabir didn’t expect that Rosalynn would make such a stupid mistake. With disdain written all over his

face, he was about to take away the dish.

“You’re not taking it anywhere.” Rosalyn stopped him. The look in her eyes was cold and meaningful.

“Do you also think that this dish is made of chicken?”

Kabir was stunned and looked at the dish with narrowed eyes. He asked in suspicion, “This isn’t actual

chicken?”

With a subtle smile, Rosalynn said, “No. That was made of bean curd.”

Bean curd?

“How is that possible?” Kabir blurted out.

The dish looked exactly like chicken. Most importantly, it smelled as delicious as chicken.

“What do you mean? You said you were Leandro’s student. This isn’t a kind of rare ingredient. Why

couldn’t you distinguish it?” Rosalynn asked meaningfully.
