Chapter 2047 Not So Soon
There is still a week to go before Mary’s wedding.
Rosalie and Byron both went to Mary's house to help with the decorations.
Andrius was focusing on putting up the wedding centerpiece.
His father, Xavier Quirke and mother, Clara Chase, were chatting with Camelia in the living room, about the details
of the wedding.
The two of them deeply respected Camelia's wishes. They urged her to speak up if she has any opinions, as long as
the Quirkes can fulfill it, they will deliver without hesitation.
Mary has not returned home yet in order to get the new hospital up and running as soon as possible.
"Sigh, it's true that the bystander is more concerned than the person involved. I clearly told Mae not to worry about
the situation in the hospital, but she had to go through all that trouble and didn't even prepare for her own
wedding." Rosalie discovered that her best friend's bridal dress had wrinkles on it, so she brought an iron to smooth

Byron smiled deeply. "It's okay, we don't need to be anxious. Someone will be anyway!"
After speaking, he glanced at Andrius.
Andrius took the hint. "Buddy, sister-in-law, you can go downstairs and have some tea. I can handle this by myself.
I’m indeed more anxious about this wedding than Mae!"
Hearing his candor, Rosalie and Byron both smiled.
Downstairs in the living room, the two families chatted very harmoniously. Xavier and Clara already heard from
their son about Dorian Claymore, so they avoided talking about this person.
When Byron and Rosalie walked down, Camelia immediately greeted them with warmth and a smile.
"Rosie, don't worry about Mae's affairs. You are pregnant now, carrying two precious babies. Come and sit down!"
Camelia said enthusiastically.
After Byron sat down with Rosalie, they listened to their chats and helped to make up some matters needed for the
marriage.
Not long after, Mary came back.
Xavier and Clara were completely satisfied when they saw their daughter-in-law. They took the initiative to help her
take off her coat, and immediately served a cup of hot tea.
From what was displayed, Rosalie was certain that Mary would be treated well after she married into the Quirke
family.
Mary was just going to report the progress of the new hospital to Rosalie, but Rosalie told her to hurry up and
prepare her boudoir.
After a while, Byron and Rosalie planned to go to the academy to pick up the kids.
While on their way, the servant in Rosalie's old home suddenly called her anxiously. "Mrs. Lawrence, this is bad. Your
father is in trouble! Can you come over right away?"
When Rosalie heard this, she frowned. "Okay, I'll be right over!"
Immediately, Byron turned around and drove towards Rosalie's old house.
Last time, in order to find Rosalie's mother's clothes, they had to dig three feet into the old house and yet they still

Right now, the old house has been renovated inside and out.
When the two arrived at the spacious courtyard, they found two servants calling out. "Mr. Jacobs, Mr. Jacobs...wake
up!"
Byron quickly got out of the car with Rosalie in his arms, and the two quickly approached.
The two servants quickly moved out of the way for them. Rosalie glanced at the old man, immediately squatted
down, and took his pulse.
Gordon's face was flushed, obviously something was wrong.
The reading on his pulse made Rosalie's face darkened.
His breathing was as fragile as butterfly wings, as if he was about to die at any moment.
'Something's wrong. He looked pretty good a few days ago. Even if he was getting sick, it wouldn't happen so soon!’
Rosalie thought to herself, looking at her husband.
Byron's reaction was also quick. He immediately picked up the frail Gordon and entered the house.
As Rosalie walked into the house, she asked the servant." Has anyone been here before? Has anyone had contact
with my father? Did he eat anything wrong?"
