Chapter 115 Getting a Free Ride Brazenly
The atmosphere in the living room was tense,
With her eyes widened, Danna gritted her teeth and said, “Madam Rosie, I’m not asking for money. You know that!”
Rosie wasn’t happy either. “You should just get rid of the child then!”
Although reluctant, Rosie wouldn’t allow the child of Radley to be raised outside of the family or for Danna to use it
as an asset to marry into the Monaghan family!
Danna clenched her fists and stared defiantly at Rosie.
I can’t believe Rosie say that! How dare she! Previously, she had been so good to me when she needed me to deal
with Freya
But now, she’s turning her back on me!
“If you agree, you can stay here to be taken care of by the servants until your baby is born.” Looking at her, Rosie
continued. “Otherwise, I’ll have someone take you to get an abortion right away!”
Danna’s gaze darkened. “Fine. I agree!”
If they took her to get an abortion now, her scheme would be exposed right away.
Frowning at Danna, Rosie ordered the butler. “Walter, clear out a room for her in the annex next door and have two
maids take care of her. Don’t let her come to the main building unless there’s something important.”
Danna’s eyes widened at the order. “Madam Rosie, isn’t the annex next door where the servants live?!”
“Where else would you like to stay? Here in the main building?” As Rosie said that coldly, she stood up. “If Madam
Daniella and Hannah see you, how am I supposed to explain?”
After Rosie had left, Walter called two maids over, who were both very respectful.
Danna stood there stiffly. She couldn’t understand how she had gotten to this point.
Initially, she had planned to announce her pregnancy after spending the night with Radley, and R would naturally
give her a chance to get close to Radley again.
As long as she lived in the Monaghans’ mansion, she would get to see Radley sooner or later and turi fake
pregnancy into a real one!
But now, she couldn’t even get close to the main building.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe test report was fake, of course. After a few months, Rosie would naturally find out about it when she didn’t
show any signs of pregnancy.
Danna followed the two maids to the annex.
Frankly, the annex’s furnishings were alright. However, Danna still felt utterly humiliated.
My plan might not work anymore.
In this case, I should just leave Caltun for good.
But before I do that, I’ll make those who had humiliated me pay.
The assassin on the dark web will take care of Freyr, as for the Monaghans…..
Quietly. Danna clenched her fists. She had been very familiar with Rosie’s daily routine when she spent. time
flattering Rosie before.
The next day-
Freya had breakfast at home in the morning and waited for Braxton to leave before calling Brisa.
She asked Brisa to accompany her to the Joint Department in West Geft.
On the way, she sat in the back seat, chatting with Brisa as Brisa drove.
“Miss Kaufmann, when I accompanied you to Evergreen University last time, I saw that you were very good at
manipulating the school’s surveillance system. Are you a hacker?” asked Brisa casually.
Freya glanced at Brisa through the rearview mirror and curled her lips. “Yeah, I know a little bit of that.”
“I see. When I was in college, I knew a very talented hacker. He was a middle-aged man though.”
Of course, Freya knew that Brisa was probably talking about her.
She smiled. “If there’s a chance, you can introduce me to him.”
Brisa agreed, “Sure, but he’s pretty busy. I’ll contact him sometime later.”
Brisa’s task was to get close to the Kaufmann family. With Freya’s cooperation, she was almost successful.
So, Brisa would probably receive her next mission soon.
At the thought of that, Freya took out her phone and logged into The Green Flamation forum.
In the management group, Ink and Heartless Scoundrel were chatting.
Ink: Why haven’t I seen Tisch lately? Is she that busy with the mission?”
Heartless Scoundrel: Isn’t she supposed to be in Caltun? I wonder whether she has met up with Green Scylla yet.
Hopefully, she didn’t fall for him!
Taking a glance at Brisa who was in front of her, Freya casually replied in the group chat.
Green Scylla: ‘No, I didn’t do anything to her. Don’t slander me.”
Ink Green Scylla, you’re finally saying something. What have you been busy with lately?”
With a smirk, Freya typed. ‘Busy going on a date with Tisch”
Heartless Scoundrel. And you claimed that you didn’t do anything to her!
The group that was very lively. When Freya and Brisa arrived at the Joint Department in West Geft,
Radley’s car just happened to pull up next to them as Freya was getting out of the car.
Freya looked toward the intersection and didn’t see the black business car that usually followed her, so she had a
hunch.
The Joint Department was currently facing a tricky problem.
There was a precious ancient building that had been in West Geft for hundreds of years. It was a pavilion built
entirely using a tenon-mortise structure.
It was one of the focuses of this renovation project.
Both sides of the project team were struggling because of it.
“We can’t begin the renovation. Its internal structure is extremely complicated. None of us dare to dismantle
anything
Upon listening to the report, Freya looked at Radley and asked, “I remember you knew a tenon-mortise master
before. Why not contact him and ask?”
Previously, she had been tricked by Radley to visit the Vincent Residence for this exact master,
III ask Connor to contact him later, but it’s best to prepare a second plan. That master has a peculiar temperament,
and the chances of him being willing to help are not great.””
The matter of the tenon-mortise pavilion could only be temporarily put aside. The Joint Department’s several
managers continued to report their work.
After the meeting had ended, Freya returned to her office.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmShe had lunch with Brisa. After lunch, Connor came to her office.
As soon as Brisa saw him, her face tensed up.
“Miss Kaufmann, it was him who caused our car to be towed last time!”
“Miss Trujillo, there must be a misunderstanding. Connor smiled awkwardly.
Scoffing, Freya backed Brisa up. “She saw the surveillance, and you did let her car get towed away. There is no
misunderstanding.”
Connor only did that because of Radley’s order. Seeing that he was caught, he didn’t get flustered and smiled even
gentler.
“Yes, I did that. Miss Trujillo, if there’s a chance, I can take you out for a meal to make up for that
Connor admitted his doing straightforwardly, then looked at Freya. “Miss Kaufmann, Mr. Monaghan’s car broke
down. He would like to ask whether you can give him a ride to the Monaghan Residence later.”
Today, Freya had asked Brisa to drive, just so she wouldn’t have to take the same car as Radley.
And Brisa made sure to park in the parking area, so there wouldn’t be any more accidents.
Freya didn’t expect Radley’s car to break down now.
What a coincidence.
Meanwhile, Connor continued to smile gracefully and decided for her. “Thank you, Miss Kaufmann. I’ll go. report to
Mr. Monaghan.”
Freya almost flared up. I haven’t agreed yet!
Watching Connor leave smilingly. Freya and Brisa exchanged a look.
Tsk, no wonder he’s Radley’s assistant!” commented Freya through gritted teeth.
Half an hour later. Freya sat in the back seat, watching Radley calmly get in the car and sat next to her.
There was no gratitude for getting a free ride under that noble appearance of his.
In the front seat, Brisa was the driver, and she glared at Connor, who sat beside her with a gentle smile.
The atmosphere in the car was strange as they drove toward the Monaghan Residence.
Being in the same space as Radley, Freya felt uncomfortable, so she kept looking out the window.
When the car stopped at a red light, she looked back.
The black business car that used to follow behind her was nowhere to be seen now.
She was more confident in her hunch.
“Radley, did you send someone to follow me?”
