Chapter 118 Bursting the Conspiracy
As she spoke, Freya glanced at the door of the emergency room.
“Most likely, your mother took this medicine,” Freya deduced.
Both Radley and Walter’s expressions changed. Although this medicine was not poisonous, there was no difference
from drinking poison if Rose took it.
Danna looked at Radley with trembling fear. Unlike his usual gentle self, Radley’s eyes were cold and filled with
killing intent.
Danna felt chills running down her spine.
“Radley, please believe me. Don’t believe what Freya said. I had no idea about this. I don’t even know how the
medicine ended up in my pocket! Maybe-maybe Freya just put it in my-”
Freya interrupted Danna, “Since you claim you don’t know, why don’t we test your fingerprints? From the moment I
took this bottle out of your pocket just now, you haven’t touched it. If your fingerprints are not on the bottle, we’ll
know for sure that you hadn’t done anything to it. Isn’t that fair enough?”
Danna clenched her hands. With a taut face and falling into tears, she didn’t say a word.
“I was wondering how you managed to arrive at Madam Rosie’s doorstep so promptly. So, it turns out that you were
there to collect the evidence.”
Freya sneered. “You certainly have a well-thought-out plan.”
Danna’s body trembled violently. She couldn’t believe they were going to test her fingerprints.
But if she didn’t comply, what could she do now?
She looked at Radley with her whole body trembling, as if she was going to use up all her acting skills in this lifetime.
As she looked at Radley with tears in her eyes, she reached out to pull his sleeve.
Radley shook her off. She fell to the ground ever so naturally and grabbed his leg again.
“Radley, believe me. I really didn’t do anything!” Danna paused, trying to continue crying and pleading. but when
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtshe looked up and saw the dangerous look in Radley’s eyes, she couldn’t say anything else.
Walter was now fully aware of the situation. He looked angrily at Danna.
“Miss Danna, you lied to Madam Rosie about being pregnant, and now Mr. Monaghan has confirmed that he has
never had any sexual relationship with you. You dare not go for a pregnancy test, nor do you dare to go for a
fingerprint test on the medicine bottle as suggested by Miss Kaufmann. Do you really think you can deceive us all
with your acting skills?”
The truth had been exposed. Danna bit her lip and silently wept.
Walter turned to Radley and asked, “Mr. Monaghan, how should we handle this?”
Danna covered her face and sobbed. “Radley, I saved your life. You can’t hand me over to someone else!”
She had no way to defend herself. She could only cry and plead with Radley by grasping at the hem of his

trousers, trying to use their past friendship and her feelings for him to appeal to him.
But Radley was fed up with her. His expression was gritn. “Take her back and lock her up. Don’t let her escape.”
Waltes responded and led Danna out.
Although Danna’s reputation was now ruined, she was still a celebrity. Many people in the corridor were watching.
Freya, who had grown tired of the ordeal, was about to leave the emergency room when the doctor came out of
the room
The nurses were pushing the hospital bed out.
Rosic had woken up, but she was so weak she couldn’t say a word.
High blood pressure could lead to many sequelae if treated too harshly, and many patients with high blood pressure
would become disabled as a result.
Freya glanced at Rosie’s horrified look, who seemed to want to say something but couldn’t.
Freya pursed her lips and kindly reminded Rosie, “You can say what you want later. Rest now.”
Rosie’s eyes shot wide at Freya, but Rosie then sensed her current embarrassment and felt very unhappy that she
had been seen like this, so she turned her face to the side.
Freya coldly scoffed and didn’t bother to deal with her,
“Since everything is settled, you can handle your own family matters. I’m leaving now. Freya turned and
left
This time, Radley didn’t stop her. He just silently watched her leave.
After leaving the hospital, Freya called Brisa. She was in a hurry to bring Rosie to the hospital just now. She was too
rushed and had left both Brisa and her own car at the Monaghan Mansion.
By the time Brisa arrived at the hospital, it was already half an hour later.
Brisa prepared to drive and asked, “Where are we going now, miss?”
Freya replied faintly, “Home.”
On the way back home, Brisa asked curiously about what had happened earlier. She had been waiting outside the
door and only saw Rosie being carried out and the scene of everyone panicking.
Brisa said, with a somewhat scared expression, “Miss Kaufmann, if you didn’t call me, I was going to report to Mr.
Kaufmann.”
Freya supported her forehead and smiled. “It’s nothing big. Madam Rosie fainted due to high blood pressure.”
She looked out of the window and dropped her hands, remembering everything that had happened today.
When Danna said that she was pregnant with Radley’s child, the anger in Freya’s heart wasn’t unfounded
Freya tightly pursed her lips. She didn’t know where these complex emotions came from. But recently, Radley had
been appearing too much in her world. It made her care about him without reason.
The following week, Freya did not go to the West Geft Joint Department.
She stayed at home every day studying Jamie’s medical records and preparing for the surgery. She also checked
The Compendium of Medical Wisdom.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAnd to cooperate with Brisa’s mission, she especially had Brisa come to her house to help her with some small
matters.
Every night, after Brisa left, Freya would see her excited announcements in The Green Flamation forum. group
chat.
My mission went smoothly. Miss Kaufmann is so easy to approach, much easier than those difficult heiresses I
imagined!”
Freya chuckled and watched as Tisch said in the group chat that she might earn her commission soon.
Then Freya typed. “Isn’t the first step of your commission to approach Miss Kaufmann? What’s the second. step?
Did your client tell you?”
Tisch quickly replied, “Not yet, but soon.”
Freya supported her cheek and lazily thought for a moment. She didn’t want to hide it from Tisch for too long.
She had been hiding it from Tisch before for her own safety, but if the client asked Tisch to steal The Compendium
of Medical Wisdom…
When the time came, she would have to make it clear to Tisch. It was only a matter of time before her identity was
revealed.
After chatting with Tisch, Freya occupied herself with some other stuff for a while before she turned off her
computer and went to sleep.
Recently, several cooperating groups of the Kaufmann Group would be holding celebratory events, and she would
need to attend several important banquets. Although Braxton’s leg had already healed, he still couldn’t stand for
long periods and needed rehabilitation.
These tasks related to attending the banquet naturally fell on Freya’s shoulders. Before going to bed, she applied a
face mask and thought about tomorrow’s attendance at the annual dinner of the Parker Group.
