Chapter 433 Seeking Parents’ Opinions.
“I miss Jolly so much.”
After finishing her calculations, Freya collapsed onto the sofa and turned her head to look at the man beside her,
Radley.
He now sent over and handled the Monaghan Group’s documents in Mutrya.
Upon hearing her words, he also thought of their son at home.
The corners of his thin lips lifted with a warm smile. “Jolly is safe at home. Don’t worry. If you miss him, you can
video call him.”
Freya’s eyes turned red. Just the thought of that scene made her feel overwhelmed. “Forget it. I’m afraid that if I
see Jolly, I will rush back to Caltun immediately.”
The longer Freya stayed in Mutrya, the more she missed everything in Caltun, and her homesickness grew stronger.
Meanwhile, she also had contact with Inken, who informed her about the explosion at the Floravalean- style villa
that day.
Her heart skipped a beat, and she asked for more details.
Fortunately, Inken said they did not find Edward’s body there, which put her mind at ease.
Spring was the season of blooming flowers, especially in this castle. The scenery was beautiful and charming.
Although Freya and Radley did not share the same room, they spent most of their daytime together.
Three months felt like three hundred years for Freya, and she felt unbearable every time the pain struck in the
middle of the night.
Yet, as time passed, she gradually experienced less and less pain.
Recently, she rarely had those moments of despair. She could suppress them with her willpower when they
occasionally arose.
There were only three experts left in the castle. They all congratulated her with happy faces.
“Miss Kaufmann, you have to be careful. We recently studied the composition of the ley Sea and found that you

She smiled bitterly. “I was forced into it in the first place. Don’t worry. I will never touch that substance in my
lifetime.”
She still had her son and a good life. She didn’t want to fall into the dark hole of addiction.
On the hundredth day of staying in Mutrya, Freya and Radley set off back to Caltun.
The plane landed.
As soon as they exited the gate, Freya saw Sylvia, Braxton, and Isabella waiting on the side.

When Sylvia saw Freya, tears streamed down her face as she cried and laughed. She reached out and patted Freya.
“You finally came back.”
Braxton felt relieved and at ease in his heart. “Frey has completely transformed this time. Let’s consider it as a
rebirth and start anew.”
Isabella also rushed toward Freya, opening her arms to hug her, but Freya quickly dodged to the side.
“Don’t jump on me with that belly of yours. You should be more careful at this time.
Isabella, who was three months pregnant, was starting to show.
Freya excitedly said, “I came back just in time. When you give birth, I can assist you.
Isabella wanted to cry but held back her sniffling nose. She reached out her hand and gave Freya a hard slap.
“You heartless person! You have no idea how worried I’ve been about you and how much I miss you.”
After expressing their longing for each other, Sylvia’s gaze fell on Radley.
Her son-in-law used to be the person she disliked the most.
Yet, after this incident, Radley had won Sylvia’s approval.
“Let’s go, Radley. Let’s go home together.”
Radley paused for a moment and then felt someone pulling his hand. He lowered his head, and Freya was smiling
up at him.
After returning to the Kaufmann family, the group sat in the living room. They were discussing recent
events.
Sylvia’s face darkened. “I’m still not at ease about not finding Jamie’s body.”
Braxton also furrowed his brow. “Initially, I thought the explosion might have destroyed his body, but Inken
mentioned that Jamie had previously orchestrated a fake death plan for the entire organization.”
Braxton became angry thinking of this person.
He had genuinely trusted Jamie. When Jamie joined the Kaufmann Group, he handed over the tasks from Ayden to
Jamie directly, making him his assistant.
No wonder the LEV organization had such detailed information about them. The real wolf was right. under
Branxton’s nose, and he had investigated so many people but never investigated Jamie.
Freya lowered her gaze.
Although she hadn’t received news of Edward’s death, a hundred days had already passed, and she had a faint
sense of the outcome.
Edward’s condition couldn’t have lasted for a hundred days; he should have already passed away.
Her heart felt heavy.
“Not being able to find Jamie is still a threat. We have to be on guard day and night,” Isabella said, caressing

her belly with a worried expression.
Upon seeing Isabella’s concern. Braxton gently patted her hand. “Don’t worry, I’m here.”
Isabella shook her head. “I’m not worried about myself. I just think Jamie is too ruthless. He came up with such
despicable methods to control Frey. It didn’t work this time, but he will become more ruthless in the next attempt.
How can this go on?”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmFreya thought seriously for a while and decided to reveal Edward’s condition. “Jamie kidnapped me to treat
Edward’s illness. He believed I could research and develop a medicine to heal his brother’s previous injuries. He
thought that as a professor, I might also be capable of finding a cure for advanced-stage stomach cancer.
Considering the time I have been able to escape until now…”
Her voice became strained. “Edward has most likely passed away.”
Isabella’s expression became complicated. Ever since Freya met Edward, she had been a witness to their
relationship. She knew that Freya considered Edward as her younger brother, and she also liked Edward’s sunny
personality.
“Edward was a good kid. It’s just a pity that he had a brother like that.”
Freya nodded and recounted how Edward had saved her.
If it weren’t for Edward, I wouldn’t have been able to escape at all.”
Sylvia held a favorable impression of Edward as well.
The atmosphere became tense.
Radley gently held Freya’s hand and calmly said, “Mrs. Kaufmann, if you trust me, allow me to protect Freya.”
Sylvia looked up at Radley. “What do you mean?”
“I want to marry her,” Radley said solemnly.
Braxton frowned as he observed. He knew this day would come once Radley and his sister reconciled.
“Radley, isn’t your proposal a bit too straightforward?” Braxton asked.
He shook his head. “This isn’t a proposal. I simply want to seek the opinions of you and your parents first.”
Freya also felt a bit surprised. “Radley, I was thinking that we should resolve Jamie’s matter so we can get married
with peace of mind.”
He looked at Freya. He had thought the same before, but this incident made him realize his true feelings.
“Frey, we can only take things one step at a time. We shouldn’t let other matters dictate our happiness. Let’s get
married first.”
