However, soon, the fire mage’s countenance turned red from shock and anger

“Just accept your death!” The fire mage said angrily. His eyes were bloodshot as his mystic gem resonated with the natural laws to the fullest and the magic circle churned, glowing with an even brighter shade of red

“Die, you traitor!” Rezen snorted, increasing the power of his spell that accelerates the defeat of his opponent

The color red started to shrink while the color blue grew longer. The fire mage was being pushed back, his body trembling and his jaw tightened

A mage’s rank depends on their mystic gem. The more fusion a mystic gem went through, the more powerful it would be but comprehension is also greatly important

To give an analogy, the mystic gem’s rank would be akin to money. The more the better

The comprehension on the other hand is either a ‘normal’ person or a ‘businessman’. The normal person would spend the money without much thought while the businessman could utilize the money to its fullest extent

Rezen took a deep breath before condensing another magic circle

“N-no… d-don’t… p-please… I-I was w-wrong…” the fire mage pleaded after seeing what Rezen is planning to do but like a devil, Fifteen whispered in his ears

“Will it be his life or your life that would continue… choose wisely”

With that, Rezen’s hesitation vanishes. He already knew that in a fantasy world, if he walk the path of mages, sooner or later he would kill not just magic beasts but also humans!

Rezen used another [Water Stream] that directly ended the fire mage’s life

“Hahahaha… you almost didn’t hesitate despite this being the first time. Kid, I like you and I will give you some advice. The more cruel and cunning you are here, the higher your chance of surviving!” Fifteen said and Rezen gave his thanks

Any information he could obtain now is valuable!

The collision between water and fire created a small explosion and steam

One is below him and the other is to Fifteen that was approaching him again

Rezen cast two [Water Stream] spell at the same time. One is to slow down his fall and lessen the impact and the other is to obstruct Fifteen

His physical and soul condition was restored to the peak by the pill but the horror of being in the clutch of death moments ago was still there

Rezen can’t last long using this spell but he can just consume recovery pills since he still had hundreds of them

“Heh… you’re really full of surprises. You don’t even use magic spells at your level” Fifteen mused and the two clashed again

Rezen used his whips as he slapped them in the air

The whips were like slimy snakes. They drew a zigzag in the air as they approached Fifteen

With a smirk, Fifteen caught the water whips with his hands. His hands jerked and he pulled the magic whips in the side

Since Rezen was holding the other end of the whip, he was not left unscathed

He doesn’t know whether this is Fifteen’s fetish or what but Rezen was thrown again despite already using [Water God’s Armor]

No doubt that if Fifteen has the intention of fighting him to death, a single attack is all that it takes to kill him!

Rezen smashed a few trees with his body causing his water armor to tremble but he forcefully maintained it

Without the armor, this trick of Fifteen would have broken Rezen’s bones again!
