Chapter 664 Genevieve fell to the ground, fecling as though every single organ in her body was wrenching in pain.

“The Honda wanted to run over her once again, but the veliiclc’s rear tires were abruptly shot.

After stabilizing the car, the driver escaped the scene.

Genevieve forced herself to open her eyes. Shic vaguely saw a figure running toward her. Before

recognizing who the person was, she found it more and more difficult to brcathc and eventually went

into a coma.

When Ammand arrived in a hurry and saw hier lying in a pool of blood, bis hicart stopped for a moment.

Thankfully, he had already called an ambulance when he drove there. He also had a couple of blood

bags with him.

After carrying her into the ambulance, he watched the medical staff rescue her as they put the

respirator on her.

He grabbed her hand tightly, his whole body tense from anxiousness.

When the ambulance arrived at a nearby hospital, Cooper had already arrived in a hurry, too.

As the staff carried Genevieve out of the vehicle, Cooper stopped Armand from following and kept him

inside the ambulance. “Don’t forget that you’re not Armand right now, and Jack isn’t an idiot.”

Armand calmed down and sat back down.

Instead of going anywhere, he sat inside the ambulance. He would call Cooper every ten minutes

asking about how Genevieve was doing.

It wasn’t until after five in the morning that Cooper told him she was pushed out of the emergency

room.

Armand knew Genevieve had a special blood type and also a coagulation disorder. Back when he

asked the prison to take good care of Marilyn, he requested them to give her checkups and draw her

blood periodically. After four years, a large amount of her blood was accumulated.

Without those blood, Genevieve would’ve been done for.

Jack asked a few of his men to stay by Genevieve’s side. When he learned she was involved in a

serious car accident, he immediately flew to ladeborough

Upon entering the ward and seeing Genevieve’s pale face, he felt his heart clench.

He stared at the unconscious Genevieve and asked Cooper. “How’s Genev?”

“It’s just as you see. She’s in a coma,” Cooper uttered coldly. “The doctor said she was lucky that

the car only smashed into licr once. However, that was enough to cause her legs to be seriously

injured. She would need to stay in the hospital for at least a month.”

If the car had rammed into Genevieve again, or if there wasn’ı enough blood for her, she would’ve been

dead.

Jack walked over to the side of the beal, look Genevieve’s hand, and kissed it.

Cooper watched that emotionlessly. “I found the driver who intentionally crashed into Genev through

surveillance cameras. He said somcone paid him to do it and described what that person looked like.”

He then landed a piece of paper to Jack. The sketch on the paper depicted a tall man with golden hair

and blue eyes,

“I also found the housckeeper who poisoned Genev and caused her to be kidnapped last year. The

housekeeper’s description of the man who hired her resembled the sketch in your hands pretty

closely:” Cooper stared at Jack intently. “Do you know this man, Mr. Valentine?”

Jack glanced at the sketch. “This man is called Luther, Lilian’s butler. After I divorced Lilian, he left with

her. I’ve never seen them again.”

Cooper sneered, “So you’re saying that you didn’t know she has made her way into Jadeborough and

even tried to kill Genev?”

“I thought she wouldn’t dare.” Jack narrowed his eyes. Murderous intent was swirling within.

He also didn’t expect the people working for Lilian would dare to do that.

“You used your marriage with her to take Helt Corporation away and indirectly caused the deaths of her

family members. She hates you so much that she’ll probably be delighted to skin you alive.” A mocking

smile was formed on Cooper’s face. “When she saw you getting married again and having children, her

hatred toward you would definitely intensify. So much so that she wanted to kill Genev.”

Even though Cooper was bringing up the past, it didn’t cause any change in Jack’s expression. The

latter even said, “Helt Corporation was rotten from the inside out. If not for me, it would’ve been

destroyed.”

When they divorced, he gave Lilian a lot of things.

Cooper had no interest in how Jack obtained Helt Corporation. “I learned from Xavier that Sylvie was

the one who helped him escape prison. Sylvie also framed the murder of Jane on him. The reason he

managed to hide in Jadeborough for so long was that Lilian’s people were helping him. This Luther had

been monitoring Gency’s every move and reporting it to Xavier. That was why Xavier managed to

sneak into her car easily.”

Jack was pretty busy during that time and wasn’t in Jadeborough. So, he didn’t know any of that.

After he heard what Cooper said, the rage in his heart burned. “I can’t kill Lilian, but I will kill everyone

around her so she can’t hurt Genev anymore. You should stay here and take care of Genev. I’ll come

back here at night.”

He bent down, kissed Genevieve’s forehead, and left.

Cooper watched Jack leave with a gloomy look in his eyes.
