Bradley initially believed Esther had run away once more. He swiftly checked the surveillance cameras and
confirmed that Esther was still peacefully resting inside the crystal coffin. She hadn’t escaped, so what was going
on?
Next, he inspected the other surveillance cameras around Warner Manor and observed a large crowd of people.
‘Very well! The Quills are attempting to cause trouble again!’
Bradley hopped onto a helicopter and returned to Warner Manor. He disembarked from the helicopter and strolled
confidently toward Oliver and Gabriel.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt“What brings you here?” he asked.
Oliver gazed at Bradley. “Hand Esther over.”
“Mr. Quill, you must be joking. Everyone knows that Esther is well cared for by the Quills. Even if I had ten times the
courage, I wouldn’t dare to kidnap the Quill heiress.”
Gabriel sneered. Unable to contain his anger at Bradley’s audacity, he raised his cane and struck him.
“Bradley, this cane is on behalf of your grandfather to teach you a lesson!
“Young man, do you genuinely believe that our girl can’t live without you?
“I’m telling you, if you don’t release Esther, I’ll have this hill blown up right now!”
Bradley snapped his fingers, and Mandy promptly brought a chair for him. He sat down, lit a cigar, and took a puff.
“You’re causing quite a scene just to take Esther away? But what if I allow you to search the premises, and you
don’t find her inside?”
Gabriel coldly glanced at Bradley and presented a disc. “Bradley, don’t you want to know the truth about your
parents’ deaths?”
Bradley frowned and asked Gabriel, “What do you mean by that?”
“I mean it literally.” Gabriel shook the disc in his hand, calmly saying, “Release Esther, and I’ll give you this disc.”
Bradley had already learned the truth about his parents’ car accident from Clark. He refused, “Mr. Sinclair, I’m not
interested in the truth you possess. If both of you insist on searching my house, you’ll need to show relevant
documents…”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmOliver wouldn’t make such a hasty move. He had all the necessary paperwork. He had even obtained footage of
Bradley leaving the motel with Esther. “These are the search warrants.”
Bradley glanced at the search warrants indifferently, then raised a single hand. “Feel free to search.”
A multitude of people poured into Warner Manor.
Bradley’s gaze displayed no sign of guilt. He seemed to mock Oliver and the others for their audacious move. He
could confidently allow them to search because he was convinced of his secret room’s security.
His secret room was the most secure in the world! Even in an 8.0 magnitude earthquake, one could stay in it for a
full 72 hours until rescue arrived. Also, unless the secret room emitted a signal, the most advanced devices couldn’t
detect any signs of life inside.
“Mr. Quill!” Mandy suddenly spoke up, and Bradley’s sinister eyes fixated on her.
