Liam ignored Zachary. He carried Jovie in one hand and held a wooden stick that cout of nowhere with the other hand.

He lowered his head and said to Jovie gently, "Jovie, be a good girl and close your eyes. I will play a gwith you! If you win, then I will buy you cakes! But, you're not allowed to open your eyes, or else there will be no reward for you!"

At the mention of food, Jovie was no longer scared. She held onto Liam's neck obediently, closed her eyes, and agreed, "Dad, I got it! I want cake!"

Liam's actions had completely enraged Zachary. Liam actually dared to be so stubborn.

Zachary pointed at Liam angrily and yelled, "Go! All of you, go! Kill him! Fuck you, how dare you still pretend like you're something!"

Once the shutters had been rammed open, a team of men in black military uniforms cout from behind the broken door. They wore combat boots, dressed in full tactical gear, and all armed with guns, rushing in tidily!

There were seven or eight bullet-proof cars outside with flashing lights.

"Everyone, put down your weapons! Anyone who resists will be killed!"

"Put down your weapons, squat on the ground, and put your hands on your heads! Anyone who resists will be shot dead instantly!"

The soldiers entered and kicked the armed fighters at the front without hesitation. They then pressed them on the floor swiftly.
