Zachary was stunned silly. He dumbfoundedly squatted on the floor with his head in his arms. His whole body was quivering. Only the sound of the soldiers reporting could be heard.

"Reporting! Team One, crowd control, mission completed!"

"Reporting! Team Two, crowd control, mission completed!"

"Reporting! Team Three, crowd control, mission completed!"

The sound of them reporting pulled Zachary back to reality, and he looked at all the armed soldiers frightfully.

Was this a military drill? Why were there suddenly so many armed soldiers?

Then, under the frightful eye of Zachary and his men, a man stood in front of all the soldiers. This man was presumably their captain. He was also donning a black combat suit. He walked toward Liam and gave him a salute. "Reporting to Mr. Cole, the situation is under control, awaiting your orders, sir!"

Fuck! What did Zachary and his men just witness? What did they just hear?

Zachary's eyes were about to pop out! He was in complete disbelief at what was happening before his eyes. It was like an illusion!

These special forces were actually reporting to Liam.

How could this be? He was nothing more than a loser who married into the Stone family to survive. How was this possible?

Liam nodded lightly. He was still carrying Jovie in his arms while she had her eyes shut. He strode toward Zachary, who was cowering on the floor. Liam glared at him coldly and said, "Zachary, what right did you think you have to getto kneel and beg? With just you as the heir to the minuscule Zelma family?"

Zachary panicked!

He was used to bullying the weak and fearing the strong. He always bowed and nodded like a coward to someone more powerful than him. If he were to meet someone of a lower status, then he tended to adopt a manner of condescension.

He had long lost his mind from fright. He crawled and rolled frantically, kneeling in front of Liam obediently, and kept apologizing, "Liam, please letgo! The captain immediately straightened up, gave a salute, and replied loudly, "Yes, sir!"
