At that moment, one of the saleswomen said softly, "Linda, you were the one who drove that man out earlier. Do you want to-"

Her words made everyone turn to look at Linda. In an instant, Linda felt so embarrassed that she wanted to curl up into a ball and disappear.

She looked at the brand-new BMW 7 Series, gritted her teeth, and cleared her throat. She straightened her uniform and quickly walked over to stop Liam, who was about to get into the car.

"Did you buy this car?"

Liam wanted to pick Celena up with Jovie in the new car. After he was stopped by Linda, he frowned and looked at her while feeling upset. He asked in return, "Is that a problem with that?"

Linda could not believe it at all. She immediately exclaimed, "That's impossible! I refuse to believe it! How could a loser in cheap clothes like you afford such an expensive car? Did you rent it instead?"

Liam sneered and surveyed Linda. With a disdainful tone, he said, "Are you saying that this car is very expensive?"

Linda was taken aback upon hearing that. Her eyes were widened. The car was almost 400 thousand dollars. Was that not expensive? What a poser!

Linda could not hold herself back anymore upon hearing Liam's question. She grabbed the car door to stop Liam from getting into the car, and she refused to let go.

She shouted at the top of her lungs, "I don't believe it! Showthe agreement for the sale of the car!"

Liam chuckled, but his gaze was frosty, and so was his tone. "Ma'am, stay at hif you've lost your marbles. Stop embarrassing yourself. Why should I show it to you?"

Linda's words shocked the other saleswomen who were watching the drama unfold. They thought that Linda might have gone crazy.

Why should Liam show her the agreement? It was none of her business at all, yet she had the guts to shout and demand to take a look at it.

However, Linda had no such self-awareness at all. She thought she got the goods from Liam instead.

She was smug as she shouted, "You don't have the guts, do you? I knew it! You can't afford to buy such an expensive car. You're a poor loser. You can't afford to buy one, yet you still want to put on an act. How shameless!"

In the next second, a slap could be heard.

Amos, who regained his senses, walked up to Linda and gave her a tight slap. He stared at her with a sullen expression and asked icily, "Linda, are you done? I've tolerated you long enough! Not only did you jump ship, but you joined the dealership next door. I've yet to settle the score with you. Mr. Cole is an important customer of ours. I won't allow you to make a scene at my dealership.

Amos had enough of Linda for a very long time. She did not do her job properly while she was still working at his dealership.

Customers were always right, yet she always held prejudice against others. Because of that, she offended many customers.

She walked out on them last month and joined the dealership next door. She even poached many customers from Amos' dealership.

Linda covered her face after being slapped. With widened eyes, she shouted at Amos, "How dare you slap me! I'm no longer your staff!"

"Hmph! You stopped my customer from leaving, and you were rude to him at my doorstep! So, why can't I slap you?" Amos bellowed so loud that Linda felt a chill down her spine. Colors drained from her face as well.

Without missing a beat, Amos looked at Liam apologetically and said, "I'm so sorry you had to see that, Mr. Cole. Letsee you off."
