Reginald was weighing the pros and cons. He did not wish to offend either Malcolm or the Hughes family. He did not wish to cross Trevyn, the future general.

"Walter!" Yafe got up and shot a glare at Walter with a sullen expression. Then, he quickly said to Reginald, "Dad, you should know that all these have nothing to do with me. My family will do as you say. We'll have no objection."

Yafe resented Walter's family for their desire to watch the world burn. They were at a critical juncture, yet Walter still wanted to slander Yafe in front of Reginald.

Sherah and Qemal, on the other hand, sat in the corner and said nothing. They simply watched quietly.
