569 He was worried for nothing
This had confused them a bit at first, but fortunately Miguel and Elias had taught them to control this new power so that it would not become a nuisance.
After all, whether it was Alan or Erik, both were obsessed with each other and so on the first day of the appearance of this power, they did not stop teleporting constantly.
But Miguel and Elias had taught them to recognize the presence of the other and they could now choose to teleport to the other or not, as for the shield of golden particles around Erik, it was Alan sharing his powers with him, so that he would feel at ease and could focus on his own opponents.
Erik, thanks to the teaching of the Warrior Spirits and the extra training he had done with Nolan every evening, was now capable of using his Stage 2 at will, and he had become accustomed to his new powers.
Kevin was really impressed with his progress, although he wasn't too surprised about it.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtTo become a Warrior Spirit you not only had to be extremely brillant and a quick learner, but you also had to have a willingness to protect people, whether it was people you loved or complete strangers.
Erik had suffered a trauma when he was young and his family was killed leaving him alone with his grandmother.
His will to protect not only his grandmother but anyone who was susceptible to being attacked like them, was even strengthened more after he met Alan, and he became a Stage 2 Warrior Spirit just after Alan almost died right in front of his eyes.
If that incident hadn't happened, it might have taken Erik several years before he could use his Stage 2, or maybe he would have never activated it, but it was for the best, because without that accident, neither he nor Alan would have become so powerful.
Kevin, after having activated his Stage 2 and fighting more like a fighter since they came here, decided to fight using more of his Mage side for once, and so he finally chose to practice using the golden particles during a real fight.
Light particles only were not powerful enough to deal with black particles, and now that he had increased all his mastery of elements, even the Angelic one, he could clearly see more golden particles than before.
And as Axel was sharing his energy with him, an additional 2,000 points had been added to all his Stats and using golen particles was as easy for him than using any other element.
He shaped golden particles into 2 short swords that were totally golden and still back to back with Erik, they kept fighting those Knights of Darkness.
They were until now the most dangerous creatures they had to face, but it wasn't the first time and as they were new Knights of Darkness their mastery over the devil was quite poor given them the advantage.
Kevin from time to time, while parrying their sword blows, would use the golden particles that were right around the Knights of Darkness, in that parallel layer of Divine energy, and throw them against them weakening them considerably each time.
The Knights of Darkness couldn't predict this kind of attack and so each time they had to move away in order to absorb more black particles to destroy all the golden ones that had managed to pierce their defense and that were directly attacking their body, trying to disintegrate them.
Axel, of course, made sure that Kevin and Erik didn't have too many opponents to face at once and he also kept an eye on the other fights... Especially those of their friends and those who came from their world.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAxel felt responsible for them, whether it was the Demons or the Shapeshifters, they had followed them voluntarily, putting their lives in danger to protect their world from the tyranny of these Ancient Gods and Titans, so he would naturally protect them the best he could.
But after 10 minutes, Axel realized that he was worried for nothing and that the training they had undergone was really effective.
Since they all fought with their group, like when they were looting purple dungeons, their teamwork was flawless, and they were all protecting each other.
This way, those who were injured could get healed without a problem, and when one of their team was in trouble, a Warrior Spirits would immediately come to their rescue and only leave when the threat was gone.
Axel then concentrated on the twenty or so Knights of Darkness who were facing them, not counting Ulyss and Roman who were facing his father and Colin, because the Legendary creatures who just possessed corrupted souls, as long as they didn't take a black pill to boost their Stats, could be handled by the weakest of them.
The Shapeshifters, led by Raven, who was for the moment the only Divine creature except for Axel, Liam, and Ian, were all on the verge of becoming Divine creatures and therefore they could not decently be considered weak, even if they really the weakest among them.
The Demons with their demonic aura were stronger than them but the groups of Shapeshifters were not to be taken lightly as they were extremely dangerous when fighting together.
As they had been training together for a very long time, they were perfectly aware of their weaknesses and strengths and since the beginning of their intensive training, they had all gained many levels, thus getting closer to their goal which was to all become Divine creatures in order to be able to go and fight on the world of the Titans.
The fact that Elias and Miguel had autorized them to fight today was a great opportunity for them, as there were so many Legendary creatures to kill, it would bring them a lot of experience points, and so it would help them to level up, and maybe some of them, after this battle, would already be able to transform into a Divine creature.
