I had dispatched my most loyal minion to Howard City, and I awaited the arrival of the kings of the twin cities to enter the castle. As the kings were brought before me, they wore a look of defeat and despair. Their defeat was inevitable, as they had no more tricks up their sleeves. They had been captured and were being brought to face the justice they had so fervently evaded for so long.
I felt a rush of anger course through my veins as I realized I had to act fast. I knew that if help arrived, it could pose a major threat to our operation. The silent killers had infiltrated the castle without detection and had brought the kings to me without any issues. I was grateful for their loyalty and bravery.
As I awaited the intelligence agent I had summoned, I turned my attention to the kings. They were tied up and kneeling before me, their faces etched with fear and anxiety. I knew that they were proud men, and that their pride was everything to them. I wanted to hurt them by hurting their pride, so I decided to humiliate them in front of their loyal subjects.
"Welcome, my friends. I hope you are in good health, and my minions are taking good care of you," I said with a cold smile.

"Dire consequences, I see. You guys pushed me out of my city, and I had to come here. You destroyed almost all of my settlements and killed hundreds of my minions, and now you say that I will still have to face consequences," I replied, my voice low and dangerous.
I sat atop my horse, towering above them as they cowered on the ground. I knew that I had to act quickly if I wanted to gain control over their cities. I called for an intelligence agent to go to the twin cities and survey the resources and soldiers that remained. I needed to capture their resources if I wanted to secure my hold over the land.
As the intelligence agent departed with two other minions, I turned my attention back to the kings. They were feeling the humiliation they had never felt before, and I revelled in their discomfort. I knew that I had to act fast and decisively if I wanted to crush their spirits completely. With the future of my kingdom in my hands, I prepared to take the necessary actions to ensure that my rule would be absolute.
"Yes, you will face the consequences if you do not release us. I am the king of this land and hold the number one position. You cannot keep me tied up like this, release me at once," Noah said, his fury palpable.
I could feel the tension rising between us. As much as I wanted to release them, I had to show them the consequences of their actions.
I took a deep breath, trying to remain calm, and replied, "You are correct. I cannot keep you tied up like this. I will have to kill you, but first, you must meet my people. These are my warriors, and I'm sure you love them, but you'll love my people even more."
Noah and Oliver exchanged worried looks, and I could see the fear in their eyes. It was time to take them to Howard City, to show the world that their kings had been defeated. As the only human in the castle, I didn't say much, but I knew that when a captured king is brought among the citizens, they often call him names and insult him in every way possible.
I wanted that for Noah and Oliver. I called the Stage 2 Intelligence Variant minions and gave them control of the castle. Then, I took 50 Stage 1 Brute Force minions and 100 Stage 2 Brute Force minions with me to Howard City. We tied the hands and feet of the kings together and had the Brute Force minions hold them from the rope. I led them to Howard City, which I had captured several days ago.
The journey was long and arduous, and the kings were struggling to keep up. They had never been treated like this before, and it showed. When we reached the city, we heard cheering from the people. They were celebrating, and when they saw me coming with my small army and the captured kings, they came out of the city.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe crowd was massive, and it was a sight to behold. Chloe was standing in front of the gate in the crowd, smiling. When I reached her, I got off my horse and hugged her. I'd missed her a lot in the past couple of days, and I wanted to fill myself up with her magic with that one hug. After that long hug, I held her hand and went inside the castle.
The people were throwing things at the kings, and I was enjoying it. I wanted everyone in this world to know who I am and what I could do to them if they came near me and hurt my people. The kings were visibly shaken and afraid.
I could see the terror in their eyes as they struggled to keep up with us. I knew they were afraid of what was to come, and I was enjoying every moment of it. I would have never done this to a king, but these kings had humiliated me by pushing me out of my castle and destroying my settlements one by one, showing me that they were stronger than me and that I was just a weak little king who couldn't do anything. I was determined to show them that I was not weak, and that I was not to be underestimated.
I brought the two kings, Noah and Jacob, to the center of the city. The crowd gathered around us as we stood on a makeshift stage that was crafted out of a colossal boulder. The kings were bound and shackled, their royal garments torn and soiled from the journey to this place. As I stood next to Chloe, I felt the anticipation of the crowd mounting. They had waited long enough for this moment, a chance to witness the fall of the tyrants who had brought so much suffering to their land.
The two kings stood in front of me, their eyes filled with fear and defeat. They knew what was about to happen. I slowly unsheathed my sword, the glint of the blade catching the sun's rays. I approached Noah, the one who had been the most arrogant, the most callous. I placed the tip of my sword under his chin, and he flinched, his head dropping to his chest.
The wounds on their bodies were a testament to the rage and indignation of the people. I could see the bruises and scratches on their skin, remnants of the mob's attacks. I smiled as I lifted Noah's face with my sword. He tried to avert his gaze, but he couldn't. His eyes met mine, and I relished in the fear that I saw in them.
My people, the ones I had liberated from the tyranny of these two kings, looked on with a mixture of satisfaction and horror. They had thrown stones and eggs at the rulers, but it was the least they deserved for the misery they had brought upon them.
As I looked out at the crowd, I spoke with a calm voice, "I brought two great kings among you, and what did you guys do? You threw stones at them. You threw eggs at them. Can I ask why you guys did this?" The people responded with a chorus of jeers and insults, their hatred for the kings palpable in the air.
But even as the people shouted and cursed, I knew that I had given them something more than just the chance for revenge. I had given them a future, a hope for a better tomorrow. And with that thought, I plunged my sword into Noah's chest, and the crowd erupted into a wild cheer.
