The attack had been relentless, the sound of the undead army's moans and the scraping of their rotting flesh against the castle walls had become a constant reminder of our precarious situation. With each passing day, their numbers grew, and their strength increased. It was clear that we needed to act quickly before the situation became unmanageable.
The gate had opened up, and our army had taken their positions. The archers, with their bows at the ready, stood at the front of the line, while the fire minions prepared their weapons. As the zombies began to approach the gate, the archers let their arrows fly, and the fire minions unleashed a wave of flames upon the undead horde.
The archers, though skilled in long-range combat, were ill-equipped for close-quarters fighting. As soon as the zombies breached the gate, they stepped aside to allow the warriors to take their place. The warriors were a formidable force, clad in armor and wielding weapons of steel. They charged into battle, their swords and axes cutting through the zombies with ease.
But our greatest asset was our army of minions. Unlike the humans, they were immune to the virus that turned people into zombies. They were relentless in their pursuit of the undead, their brute force crushing the zombies one by one. Those that were too fast for the stage 2 brute force minions were taken down by the technique variants, who used their speed and agility to outmaneuver the zombies.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAs the battle raged on, the minions pushed the zombies out of the castle and into the open ground. The door behind them was shut tight to prevent any more zombies from entering. The fight was brutal, the sound of clashing steel and the roars of the zombies filling the air.
The flamethrower minions, with their fire weapons, illuminated the dark battlefield, casting flickering shadows across the ground. The minions fought on, undeterred by the ever-growing horde of undead. Their determination and unwavering resolve kept them going, and finally, after what felt like an eternity, they emerged victorious.
As the last of the zombies fell, our army let out a collective cheer. It had been a hard-fought battle, but we had emerged triumphant. As I checked the stats on our advanced control minion, I saw that we had lost some brave warriors, but we had prevailed. Our kingdom was safe once again, and we owed it all to our army of minions.
Everywhere I looked, the power stats read zero. Not even a single number flickered on the screens apart from zero, indicating that the enemy had been defeated, and we could finally relax. My minions marched back in formation, their faces lined with exhaustion and their clothes soaked with blood. Despite their weariness, they kept their heads high, proud of their victory.
As we made our way towards the city gates, the massive doors creaked open to let us pass. Inside, the city was bustling with activity as the residents cheered our success. The warriors were welcomed with open arms, but before they could enter the city, the water minions bathed them clean. The minions didn't have any facilities for washing themselves, but they made sure to keep the warriors clean and presentable after every fight.
We waited for a while, scanning the surrounding area for any sign of danger. The night was dark and quiet, and the only sounds were the songs of roosters and the rustling of leaves. I was on edge, half expecting a zombie horde to emerge from the jungle, but as time passed, it became clear that we were safe.
As dawn approached, I made my way back to my house. The sky was painted in hues of pink and orange, the sun's first rays lighting up the horizon. I sank onto my bed, feeling the softness of the sheets against my skin. I had grown used to sleeping on hard, uncomfortable surfaces, so the luxury of a proper bed was a rare treat.
I lay there for a while, allowing myself to bask in the moment. I felt the warmth of the sun on my face, the gentle breeze blowing through my hair. My mind was still racing with thoughts of the battle, and the plans that had been thwarted by the zombie attack. But for now, I pushed those thoughts aside and simply enjoyed the peace and quiet.
As I lay there, my mind wandered back to my childhood. I remembered the days when I was teased and bullied by the other kids, called names and made to feel like an outcast. But those days were long gone, and now I was the one in power. I had become a leader, a force to be reckoned with. And as I drifted off to sleep, I knew that nothing could stop me from achieving my goals.
As I lay on my bed, my thoughts consumed by the dream that had left me sweating and shaking, I couldn't help but reflect on my past. The bullies who had tormented me for years had turned me into a ruthless, unfeeling man, someone who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. I had become so consumed by my desire for power that I had forgotten what it meant to be human.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmBut as I lay there, the sweat drying on my skin, I realized that I couldn't go on like this forever. My fear of the zombies had reminded me of the fragility of life, and how easily it could be taken away. I knew that I had to change, to become someone who cared about others, someone who could lead with compassion as well as strength.
The sun was high in the sky, and the heat was stifling. I got up from my bed, feeling the coolness of the stone floor under my feet. As I walked outside, I was hit by the brightness of the sun and the noise of the city. People were going about their business, and the sound of laughter and chatter filled the air.
I walked to the edge of the city, looking out at the horizon. The view was breathtaking, with mountains rising up in the distance and a river winding its way through the valley. For a moment, I forgot about the zombies and the nightmares that had haunted me. I simply stood there, taking in the beauty of the world around me.
But as I turned to walk back to my castle, the fear returned. What if the zombies came back? What if they destroyed everything that I had worked so hard to build? I knew that I had to be prepared for anything, and so I spent the rest of the day training my warriors, making sure that they were ready for whatever might come their way.
As night fell, I retreated to my bed once again, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle over me. But this time, instead of dreaming of zombies and death, I dreamed of a different future. A future where I could be a leader who inspired hope and courage in his people, a future where I could make a difference in the world. And as I drifted off to sleep, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, I was ready to face them with strength and compassion.
