much about the result either.

"I won't," Nicole replied coldly. Then she left with Jared.

She was not fooled by Harvey's apparent graciousness. It was all an act, and she could not be bothered to play

along.

Harvey's expression darkened as he watched Nicole link her arm with Jared's. The aura around him seemed to

darken as well.
