Long Chen quickly rushed forward, his heart pounding quickly. After crossing a mountain, he cupon a deep valley filled with countless figures surrounding a colossal skull.
The skull stretched miles across, with two massive horns protruding from it. Its decayed skin made it impossible for people to determine its origin, but the terrifying aura it emanated revealed its ancient lineage—a lifeform from the primal chaos era.
This meant that the skull had been preserved over countless years. Its background had to be astonishing.
A blood-red, perfectly square rock was embedded in the skull’s forehead, swirling with countless blood-colored runes. A pillar of light radiated from it, piercing the sky.
“That’s something good,” murmured Long Chen, his eyes gleaming.
Even the Earth Cauldron stirred with excitement at the sight of the mysterious rock.
Countless lifeforms were surrounding the skull with their hands extended. Blood-colored streams flowed out of their hands and into this stone. It seemed that they were trying to pull the stone out of the skull.
Long Chen eyed those lifeforms. They had wings and dark red hair. Though humanoid, they neither resembled the human race nor the devil race. Long Chen had never seen anything like them. However, based on the wildness of their aura, it was obvious that they were far from benevolent.
Their number reached into the millions, with over ten exceptionally powerful figures overseeing the scene from above. The rest were doing their best to pull the stone out of the skull.
Seeing that they weren’t a kind race, Long Chen didn’t stand on courtesy and charged right at the skull.“Foolish human, you are sending yourself to your death!” roared one of the lifeforms, summoning a manifestation.
A massive claw materialized, creating a spatial vortex that blocked Long Chen’s path.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAt the stime, three others attacked him from different directions. They were clearly not planning on letting him leave alive.
“Eight Star Battle Armor!”
Long Chen’s divine ring flared to life, and a starry sea unfolded above him. In an instant, he unleashed the full might of his astral energy.
Long Chen’s fist blew apart the spatial vortex, and his fist image blasted the attacking lifeform into a mist of blood.
As Long Chen charged forward, the remaining lifeforms roared in fury, unleashing millions of blood-colored rays at him like sharp swords. In response, Long Chen waved his hand and summoned the Demon Moon Cauldron. Hiding behind it, he advanced easily.
While the blood-colored rays were quite sharp, when they struck the Demon Moon Cauldron, they couldn’t even scratch it.
After all, the Demon Moon Cauldron was a replica of the Heaven Earth Cauldron, and it was imbued with a trace of divine energy from the authentic artifact. With Yao Ling-er commanding it, its power was nothing short of astonishing.
The blood-colored rays of light shattered harmlessly against the Demon Moon Cauldron, unable to hinder its advance. Hence, the Demon Moon Cauldron hurtled forward like a blazing comet toward the skull.
Recognizing the threat, the strongest lifeforms in the sky swiftly joined the fray. They formed complex hand seals, conjuring blood-colored chains that wove into an enormousto block Long Chen’s path.
“So, it’s the Blood race’s aura,” Long Chen muttered, his eyes narrowing. “No wonder I felt such hostility. They’re a branch of the Blood race.”
When their bloodline power erupted, its distinct fluctuations confirmed Long Chen’s suspicions.
Meanwhile, the Demon Moon Cauldron struck the net. Seeing the Demon Moon Cauldron charging forward ferociously, they chose to restrain it with a soft force. As the cauldron plunged into the net, its energy was steadily drained, and its advance slowed until it cto a halt.
Believing they had subdued the cauldron, the lifeforms started retracting theto capture it. But just as triumph flickered in their eyes, Yao Ling-er’s voice echoed powerfully.
The Demon Moon Cauldron’s runes flared to life, forming a radiant ring around it. In an instant, the cauldron spun violently, its force tearing a gaping hole through the net. Once the Demon Moon Cauldron broke free, Long Chen appeared above it.
Somehow, Long Chen couldn’t help but stare at the rock oddly. This piece of rock was perfectly square, like a brick embedded into the skull’s forehead.
But there was no tfor idle speculation. If the Earth Cauldron had deemed it valuable, then it was worth claiming.
Without hesitation, Long Chen extended his hand, and countless lightning chains wrapped tightly around the skull.
“Rise!” Long Chen shouted.
With a tremendous pull, the skull lifted from the ground.
The valley shook, and the Blood race lifeforms cried out in pain as the chains connecting them to the stone shattered. Blood spurted from their mouths.
The lifeforms panicked as they saw Long Chen trying to claim the skull. With a unified roar, they charged at him.
“Kill!”
The skull was exceptionally heavy. Though Long Chen had managed to lift it into the air, pulling it into the primal chaos space was proving far more difficult. The lightning chains strained with all their might, but the skull barely budged.
When the Blood race lifeforms reached him, he had no choice but to temporarily put down this enormous skull.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

With a flick of his wrist, Long Chen dismissed the Demon Moon Cauldron and summoned Evilmoon instead. These lifeforms might have strength in numbers, but their weapons were no match for the legendary blade.
Evilmoon sliced through them effortlessly, as though their bodies were made of paper. A rain of blood painted the skies.
Each swing of Evilmoon cleared a wide swath of space in front of Long Chen. In mere moments, the surrounding experts were reduced to lifeless corpses. The rest fled in terror upon seeing his power.
However, Long Chen didn’t bother chasing them. Raising his hand again, he summoned the lightning chains to once more bind the skull.
“Eh?”
Suddenly, Long Chen noticed something amiss. One Blood race lifeform was standing on the red stone with blood pooling beneath his feet. He was forming hand seals and chanting sstrange incantation.
A bad feeling instantly welled up within him. Without hesitation, he redirected the lightning chains toward the figure.
The lifeform abruptly ceased chanting and raised his head to meet Long Chen’s gaze. A sinister grin spread across his face.
“You want to steal my Heretic Blood Divine Seal? Keep dreaming! Foolish human, face your death!”
Long Chen’s lightning chains struck, but they were intercepted by an array of runes that suddenly flared to life around the red stone. The chains exploded on impact, their energy scattering harmlessly.
“What?!”
Long Chen’s eyes widened in disbelief. Before he could react further, the figure and the red stone vanished, leaving behind an empty skull with a deep, gaping indent where the stone had been.
Before he could comprehend what had happened, a blinding pain erupted at the back of his head. It felt as though he’d been struck by a hammer. His vision blurred, stars spinning wildly before his eyes as he was sent flying through the air.
