Chapter 52 Elisa’s Retaliation Elisa smiled. “Thank you, Mrs. Wickam. If that is all, | shan't disturb you any further.” Monica's expression immediately changed, as her anger was about to erupt.

Nevertheless, she did not mind at all. Instead, she smiled at Julia before saying, “Grandma, | might not be able to visit you often in the future, but | will always think of you. You can also visit me anytime you are free.” Julia nodded understandingly. “Good, good. Young people like yourself would like to focus on your career, but have you decided on what you would like to be? Why don't | find a job for you? You don’t have to worry about anything if you work in Wickam Group — I'll protect you!” Elisa was amused by her suggestion. | am already getting a divorce with Gareth, so it's impossible for me to work at his company! The latter became so furious that she did not even filter out her insults. “Do you think that Will Darcey will really love you for your looks? After the divorce, | bet he won't even spare you a second glance. There are so many beautiful women out there; why would he want used goods?”
