He paused as his eyes swept across the two dumbfounded people. “If they leave before that, they’re

not allowed to step foot in this residence ever again.”

The father and daughter flinched.

“It was all right,” replied Jackson. Having dinner with his co-workers was the excuse he used. Unless

“Looks like it’s grown even longer,” Serenity’s murmur snapped Jackson back to his senses. She was

inspecting his fringe.

“Jack, why don’t I trim your fringe for you? It’s a little too long. It must be affecting your vision,” she

He stared at her. There seemed to be a light flowing in his eyes, After a few moments, he slowly said, ”
