Chapter 536
“Sure,” replied Jackson. After all, bringing an extra child to the movie premiere wasn’t a particularly
difficult task.
“But are you sure he can understand the movie?”
Serenity searched her memory. If she recalled correctly, the movie was marketed to everyone,
including children. Although Yanny was considered fairly young, she was more worried that he wouldn’t
understand the words being said.
At the same time, going to the theatre would be a brand–new experience for the boy. She could
whisper softly and give him hints of the plot or signal to him with her hands.
All of a sudden, she realized how meaningful it was to bring Yanny along! She looked forward to seeing

Using sign language, she asked the boy if he had watched the movie already. Yanny shook his head.
“Then, would you like to watch the movie together with Auntie later?” asked Serenity while using sign
language to assist his understanding
The boy nodded excitedly. Although he understood the concept of movies, he still looked forward to
experiencing it in person.
When Serenity saw the expectant look in his eyes, she felt it was a shame that they weren’t watching
an animated movie instead
But… you know what, if Yanny’s interested in going to the theatre, she would bring him to watch a
cartoon in the future.
Their car arrived at the theatre where the premiere was held, but they didn’t stop at the main entrance.
After all, it would be filled with reporters, and Jackson already knew that Serenity didn’t enjoy media
attention. He never liked those pesky
reporters, anyway.
At the side entrance, bodyguards were already waiting for them. When Jackson’s car rolled to a stop,
they automatically stepped forward and opened the door for them.
The trio disembarked the vehicle and headed inside.
Thankfully, there weren’t any reporters in the screening hall. There were celebratory decorations and
the attendees of today’s movie premiere.
As far as her eye could see, Serenity recognized a number of well–known movie stars and directors.
She even saw a few politicians and figureheads that frequently appeared on the news.
Serenity was inwardly surprised. Although Finn was a relatively popular celebrity, she didn’t know he

She thought about the possible explanations before realizing that the director of this film was among
the top three most successful directors in the country. He had been nominated for a number of awards
abroad as well.
It became clear to her that the director must be the reason why so many big shots were attending the
premiere. Serenity had garnered a considerable amount of attention the last time she attended a
function, but there were whispers
the elite class that severe consequences would follow if they offended Jackson’s new girlfriend.
Still, not everyone was aware of this rumor.
The sight of Serenity standing next to Jackson while holding the hand of a child attracted quite a lot of
sideward glances.
In particular, those who knew Jackson almost had their eyes popping out of their sockets.
What was going on? Why was the much–feared Jackson Valor attending a movie premiere with a
chikt?!
