Chapter 102: | didn't file the divorce paper

~~~Lost and all alone. | always thought that | could make it on my own, but since you left | hardly make through

the day. My tears get in the way and | need you back to stay. | wonder through the night and search the world for

the words to make it right. All | want is just the

My head snapped where the voice was coming from and there | saw the bitch herself, Cherry Petterson, wearing

a tight red dress with a plunging neckline showing her flat chest.

"So, is this your new place to hang out, babe?" She intentionally mentioned the last word in an extra sweet yet

sarcastic manner.

| formed my fists but still waited for her next offensive words.

"I didn't know you were going to this kind of place! It's so cheap. The people, the food and everything are

cheap!"

"Wow!" | heard Jack mutter behind me. | didn't know when was she cout behindand she has the

expression of a tiger when | glanced at her.

Well, sas mine, rage instantly filled me. How dare this man askedto give him a fucking chance earlier

when he's still with her?

"What are you doing here?" Luke immediately stepped forward and stood between us.

"Oh, | just wanted to check out my boyfriend's new place to hang out, what's the matter with that?" The bitch

replied then shrugged her shoulders.

"What the hell are you talking about? We're over and you know that!" He said gritting his teeth.

"Huh! Since when did we break up, babe? | couldn't remember exactly the date that | agreed with you to quit this

relationship!"

| raised an eyebrow with what I heard. | couldn't believe these two were fighting over their fucking breakup in

front of me.

"I've already made it clear to you over than a month ago!"

"And | didn't agree, did 1?"

"I don't fucking care---"

"Excuse me!" | decided to interrupt their lover's conversation as | couldn't stand to hear what they were talking

about. "I don't care what the matter is between you two, but can you please get out of the coffee shop because

And | was about to take a step away from them when Cherry the bitch, called my attention.

"Don't you dare tellor rather dictatewhat to do or not because just like your little cheap business, you're

also a cheap, second-rate, rubbishy woman who always tries to get my boyfriend from me!"

"What did you say?" My head automatically snapped towards her as well as my body and | was just an inch

before | could slap her filthy mouth and take her soul out of her body, but Jack stoppedby tugging my arm.

At that moment, | don't care whether we already caught the attention of the customers as long as | put the bitch

into her place.

"Why? Isn't it true?" She raised an eyebrow. "He was my boyfriend when you spiked his drinks and fucking

seduced him and then what? You got pregnant---"

"Cherry, stop it!" Luke also grabbed her hand but she swatted it away.

"Now that | finally got him back after you left him, you're here again flaunting your body in front him and

seducing him again!"

"| did not seduce him and I'm not seducing him either---"

"Liar!"

"Cherry shut the fuck up and get out!" Luke suddenly screamed that madeshock for a few seconds. The

veins in his neck are now showing due to anger. "We're over and whether you like it or not ---"

"No! We're not over yet and | will be the one to decide if we're already over or not!" She also screamed, pointing

Luke in his face.

"Ohh... feisty!" Jack snorted.

"Shut up, you third-rate bitch!"

"What the hell---do you wantto cut your tongue and make you swallow it?" Jack was about to start the fight

but | stopped her.

"Jack, we're not going to use our hands on someone as low-minded and bitch like her!"

"Really?" She turned to me, forming her fists. "Well, listen here everyone!" She said calling the attention of all

the people gathered inside the shop.

"What are you doing?" Luke tried to ask her but she ignored him.

"Do you see this woman here, guys? Her nis Samantha is she's no different from a criminal because almost

five years ago, she fucking seduced my boyfriend! And now that they were already divorced, she's trying again

to seduce him!" While she was talking, | took a deep breath and thought of the best way to annoy her without

screaming and exerting much efforts like what she's doing.

"Ohh, do you have any evidence that says I'm seducing him?" | asked her with a chuckle that made her nose

flare-up. "Because you if don't have any proof and you're just blabbering those words, well, we will see each

other in court because | will probably sue you for this." "How dare you---"

"| said stop it!" Luke held her wrist before her palm could land on my face. "I've had enough of you and this

should stop now!"

"Yes, you should stop your girlfriend for making a commotion and spreading sfake news before you see her

touching the cold bars."

"Argh! Letgo!" She tried to break free from Luke's grip.

"No! You should stop now!"

"Ahh... so you're choosing her now instead of me? Are you now choosing your ex-wife over me?"

Jack and | shared glances with what she said.

"Huh! You're such a crazy bastard! Are you choosing her? The cheap kind of woman who once destroyed our

relationship?"

But we didn't hear anything from Luke.

"Con, Luke, tell me! What is it with your ex-wife that you suddenly beclike this? You love me, don't

you?"

But Luke seemed to cut his tongue.

"Huh! | won't let this pass easily! | am now your present, I've stayed by your side, I've done everything to make

you happy and then now that your ex-wife---" "She's not my ex-wife," Luke said that stopped Cherry from

speaking.

| frowned, confusion can be seen on my face as | glanced at Jack and | found her having the sexpression as

mine.

Cherry giggled after a few seconds.

"Then what do you call her? What is she to you---your ex-lover?" She asked him, laughing.

"No, | can't call her my ex-wife nor an ex-lover."

"Then who she is to you?"

| felt my heart stopped beating when Luke slowly turned to me. | don't know, but the look in his eyes already

answered the silent question that has formed in my head. "She's my wife." He said looking directly into my eye.

-'What?'- | thought | asked it out loud, but | didn't notice that there was no voice coming out of my throat when |

opened my mouth.

"She's still my wife."

-'huh!'- | gasped in shock as well as the people who heard what he said.

"W-What did you s-say?" | asked, stuttering as | couldn't believe what | had just heard. Suddenly my legs

wobbled like a jelly and it was then | felt Jack's hand on my arm. "What the hell are you talking about? You got

divorced four years ago!" Cherry talked to him, clenching her jaws.

But he still didn't look at her. His eyes were on me, so | didn't miss every single expression that simultaneously

showed on them.

"| didn't sign the divorce papers you left on my study table. | just threw them away."

And he then turned to his girlfriend or if what he said was real, she still his mistress and nothing's changed. It's

his expression that suddenly changed when he looked at her.

"So stop calling her my ex-wife or

ex-lover because since | didn't file the divorce papers, that means she still my wife---" he didn't get the chance to

continue what he was saying as Cherry's palm already landed on his face.

"How dare you? How dare you lie to my face? All these years, I've tried my best to make you happy, to satisfy

your needs and then now you're suddenly tellingshe's still your wife?"

"Cherry---"

"Why didn't you file the divorce papers?"

She asked the question that should be mine, but | couldn't interrupt them as | suddenly lost all words because of

the shocking information. "Why did you lie to me?"

Cherry kept asking him questions

but since my mind was already left

on what Luke had said about our marriage, it seemed like | was just watching a silent TV. They were talking in

front ofbut they have no

sounds.

| started walking back to the counter when | felt a hand grab my elbow followed by Luke's voice.

"Sam"

But | immediately swatted his hand and my palm quickly reached his face and he got the second slap of the day.

"Don't touch me! Don' fucking touch me!" | whispered-yelled. | tried as much as | can to prevent the tears from

falling and | thank God for not letting those tears flow.
